The surroundings and bar kitchen and pool area so refreshing. Very cool place

The room was not clean. We use the same towel since arrival . No shower cap .at room 3 the air conditioner and fridge they make noise wen you put it on

The place is beautiful and clean.the staff and the owner are welcoming &friendly..we really enjoyed our stay The food was 👏 🤩

Un lieu paisible au milieu de la nature, animé par le chant des oiseaux. Le personnel était remarquable et les propriétaires nous ont accueillies de façon très chaleureuse. Prenez le temps d’admirer la décoration dont les objets chinés et rénovés on été transformés en œuvres d’art.

Frühstück wurde nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Abendessen oder Lunch in der Anlage war sehr angenehm und gut. Schöne ,sichere grüne Anlage mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zu relaxen am Pool oder am See. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Firstly, I usually never complain, but if I don't say anything I am worried this place is going to keep going down and polite people will just not give them the feedback they need. The place is aging, paint coming off walls outside, and in the bedroom there is rising damp. The bedding is old and room has an old musky smell. Curtains soiled and need to be deep cleaned or replaced. Probably could do with a revamp. Bedside lights don't work. Bathroom door doesn't close. Bathroom mirror is very old and looks rusted. Cupboard doors are flimsy and one is scared to close them properly because the plastic latches are hard and the glass panels rattle. They should rather replace with magnetic latches and maybe put putty in to stop the panels from rattling. In the morning I had just a few minutes of hot water and then then shower went completely cold. Food disappointing. I ordered a 350g fillet steak for supper, done medium to well... I got 2 separate pieces of meat, one was very dark inside with blood oozing out - looked like game meat, and the other piece was much lighter, definitely beef, but was over cooked and dry. The fries were decent but veg was mostly green peppers and onion. The breakfast eggs were supposed to be easy over but the yolks were hard. Coffee was like mud... which I did complain about. I don't like to complain, but that was the last straw. Frans is a functioning steward, but he doesn't have what the place needs to get it up to standard. He personally made the coffee and oversaw the meals. In my personal opinion, the restaurant needs someone with flair and attention to detail, and a local relaunch campaign if they intend to keep it running. Unlikely I will go back unless issues are addressed.
