I was at the property but was DENIED about my booking out of no reason! A VERY RUDE middle aged woman who seemed to be the cleaner who tried to bring my luggage out to the public area outside the property and threatened to call police!!! I tried to contact booking.com customer service but no avail! NEVER book this hostel as there are plenty of hostels in Punts Arenas Attached is the screenshot of confirmation of my booking

I don't understand all the reviews saying how nice the owner was. They influenced me booking this and I didn't find it true. When I arrived at the same time as another guest it was late Saturday afternoon. The owner wanted cash only. Neither of us had having both arrived in chile that day. It does not say on booking. Com. The owner said make sure we get in morning. So Sunday morning I traipse around to find a place, get her the cash, but she is nowhere to be seen all day. 9.30pm I am asleep because of time difference and jet lag and she is really banging on my door demanding money. The bathrooms are not near most of the bedrooms they are near the kitchen where the owner entertains her friends or family ? Made me feel uncomfortable. There was plate of pastries in the morning but no mention if for us or her friends so I didn't take. I wasn't given a key to my room but asked for it back when I left. This was my first place on arriving to chile and it left me with a very bad impression, i was really not happy here. Thank god all the other places were warm and friendly.

Although it is an old house, there was adequate heating in the house. The house is pretty clean.

There is an unpleasant old house smell though. The appearance of the house is shabby.

The host is a local mom with 2 adorable girls. It’s nice to be Welcome by a patagonian family. They are very friendly!
