Gowrie Farm Golf Lodge

The place was easy to get to and quite central to explore the Midlands from. The extremely friendly and accommodating staff and not forgeting the scenic and beautiful golf course. The room was comfortable and clean which is a big plus. Overall the entire place was always kept neat and tidy. I must make special mention of Beauty who served us daily at breakfast. She was absolutely fantastic. Also Christopher from the Pro Shop was extremely helpful and the staff at the front desk and bar were also extremely helpful.

This may sound a bit silly, but my wife and I found the pillows extremely soft for our liking and I suppose its because we are used to more firmer pillows, so this did make the first night sleep a little uncomfortable. I would also like to suggest maybe consider erecting a high net on the right hand side of the driving range along the road to stop wayward practice shots from possibly hitting vehicles coming up or down the road.

Good location on Nottingham Road.

Not many facilities provided at the property. The breakfast was a basic a la carte menu.

Spit braai meat was not great but that's their vendor fault. They have been told.
