The location is spectacular overlooking the valleys of Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and under the Eiger north face. Access to lots of trails. The half board breakfast and dinners were delicious and massive!

the location is amazing. if you're into hiking, the hiking spots are just in front of the hotel. I did some hiking around at night and saw breathtaking views of Grindelwald! also the staff is very helpful and friendly.

"We would stay at the Lodge Bergrestaurant again"

We stayed in the 'Lager' (shared dorm room) - it was quiet, clean and safe. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful as was dinner, service was great, staff helpful. There is a cafe-bar downstairs with outside seating, great for Eiger-gazing. Don't forget to purchase your 50% off SBB travel card.
