"Truly breathtaking and Peaceful"

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Shayamoya Tiger Fishing and Game Lodge. The food was absolutely amazing and far exceeded expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The views from the lodge are simply incredible — truly breathtaking and peaceful. Even though my stay was short, it was memorable, and I would definitely love to return for a longer visit.

Le restaurant fait des plats excellent

La hutte est trop sombre ainsi que le restaurant. Personnellement ça me fait peur. Certains personnels ne sont pas professionnel, on ne se sent pas du tout comme dans un 4 étoiles.

"Nature lovers delight."

The views are breathtaking and the location is fabulous. Awakening to the most gorgeous of sunrises make waking up a treat to cease the day. Tiger fishing was absolutely awesome. Just sitting in the middle of the lake and watching and feeling the nature was amazing. Catching fish was the bonus. The rondavels are lovely and contain everything one needs.

Outside shower tends to be neglected in terms of cleaning. Leaves gather when the wind blows and rocks tend not to get scrubbed. Dark corners in the bathroom because of lack of lighting make it a bit dubious. I generally do not like wooden toilet seats. Highly unexpected was the trash and dirt on the road at the border of Eswatini as you enter The Pongola Nature Reserve.

"Zentral gelegene Unterkunft ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen"

Unser 1. Zimmer entsprach nicht unseren vorher abgestimmten Anforderungen und wir erhielten anstandslos ein anderes 2. Zimmer, welches unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich - die zusätzlichen Gamedrives waren ordentlich und gut. Betten in guter Qualität, Frühstück ausreichend und wohlschmeckend. Wir würden die Unterkunft empfehlen und persönlich auch wieder buchen.

Die gesamte Unterkunft, die Zeltunterkünfte etc. sind in die Jahre gekommen und müssten dringend renoviert werden. Leider hatten wir am letzten Morgen keinerlei Wasser in unserer Unterkunft - erst ab 07:15 Uhr war es wieder da.
