Jungle Beach Ahungalla

Relaxing beachfront jungle setting in quiet area of Ahungalla.

Rooms were fairly spartan with little decoration and would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facility.

The overall atmosphere at this place was amazing. This is a home outside home. Massages were perfect, evening drinks and dinners on the beach, the local dog always guarding our doorstep during the night and many more wonderful memories of our stay. Barbara and all the staff were so helpful, welcoming and kind. You go to sleep with the sound of the waves and when you close your eyes you are looking forward for their wonderful breakfast :) We will definitely visit again next time we come to Sri Lanka.

Very beautiful cabins in a jungle at a big quiet beach. A beautiful calm romantic place. Very friendly personal, amazing good breakfast and in general good food. Top location.

When there are that much musquitos, the bed needs a better musquitonet. One that is as big as the bed. Now it was centered in the middle with a ring and it needed replacement. There were holes in it. I sewd one myself and the ring came down. If the bed was made up by the staff, you needed half an hour to kill at least 8 musquitos inside the net. The price was a bit high in comparison to other places we have been.

The location at the beach is really nice. The food was delicious and the interior of the cabins was pretty.

It rained into the cabin, everything inside the cabin was damp, even the bed sheets. It wasn’t very cosy. There was no reception so we never knew, who we could ask for advice.

The room was too dark. Very difficult to see my things.

Great place, excellent personal and very friendly owner. Very nice room and tasty food. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. Definitely it is worth to visit again.
