Dulce Valle Villas and Spa

Simple accommodation in a good location in La Palma. Good for sightseeing on the Island. El Paso town center, with a few shops and restaurants, is within a few minutes' drive. We rented two villas. They were both extremely clean and well-kept and had all the kitchen facilities needed in order to cook. Communication with Ana on everything that had to do with the apartment was easy (but only with things directly connected to the apartment, see below). Some reviews mentioned that the place needs an update. I guess they repainted or something, because it was better than what I expected from the reviews. The sofa bed in the living room was comfortable for one of our kids.

We arrived late and had a lot of laundry (one of my main reasons for choosing this place was the washing machine). I texted Ana to ask if we needed to buy washing powder ourselves, and she responded that we did. We stopped in the supermarket on the way to the airport, but they only had washing liquid, which we couldn't carry on the plane (we had only a small carry-on suitcase). I knew that by the time we would reach La Palma the supermarket would be closed, so asked Ana if she could provide us with some liquid or powder. My question was ignored. I would accept any answer: yes/no, yes but for a fee. But why ignore? On one of the evenings, my kids locked themselves out of their room. Ana responded to my messages instantly and took care of that (thanks!! sorry for the trouble). But when I asked, a minute later, for restaurant recommendations, my message was ignored. Again, I would have accepted any answer (e.g.: all the restaurants in El Paso are equally good, or: I don't know). But why ignore? BTW - in the end, we found ourselves, quite by accident, in a lovely Italian restaurant in El Paso: La Cantina Del Geco. Try it!! At other apartments we stayed in, there were a few ingredients in the kitchen, sometimes left by other guests (oil, tea, spices, etc). There was also shampoo. Here, there was none. All in all, our experience was not negative. But there was nothing in the place that would make me want to return, or to recommend it to friends. That being said, it's not a bad option, it's very clean and Ana is extremely nice and responsive in the stuff that matters most (keys to the villa).

A lovely apartment with all the necessary amenities and on a good location to do the tours around La Palma. It has a very nice view of the sunset & sea & mountains. It offers also a pool & spa - sauna & jacuzzi, which was a great relaxation after all day exploring the island. The host was very kind and heartful, giving us some useful tips & a very warm feeling of the accomodation. For sure we're coming back. 🩵

A great wee place in El Paso, fairly handy for bus stops and supermarkets a 10-15 minute walk away, and the jacuzzi and sauna are a great way to end the day. Staff were also very friendly which always makes a big difference.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect if you came by car (parking is available) and plan mostly hiking. Gorgeous national park is 10 mins drive (book parking lot at the website 1-2 days before), Tajogaite (that erupted 2021 ) is 1 hour walk. Beautiful view from terrace and garden at the territory. El Paso is a super nice small city, enjoyed it`s Christmas lights and atmosphere. Sauna is a great option to have after long hikes , we really enjoyed it. The house is spacious and you have everything you need, stuff is super friendly and ready to help an welcome you at the beautiful island. They also have fluffy cats ;)

It was a bit cold on first day of our stay , but we were ready for it. Generally satisfied , and would like to come again!
