The property itself was lovely. Good sized bedrooms (1 double & 2 twins) and plenty of bathroom/shower facilities. Having stayed in another property nearby we knew the location was excellent - easy walk into Pollenca. Didn’t have any problem with parking on the street nearby. Nice plunge pool and outside kitchen area.

Despite being assured by the agent that the external building work (mentioned by a previous review last year) was completed months ago, this was far from true! Scaffolding overlooking the outside areas meant no privacy at all, with significant noise (banging/drilling/etc) throughout the day from around 8am, plus a builder who seemed the need to shout rather than speak in normal volumes. Therefore there was no relaxing outdoor space available. There is also significant internal building work ongoing meaning lots of banging through the walls too. Having contacted & complained to the agent after seeing the ongoing building work on arrival (again not something you want to have to do on holiday), we did receive some compensation against the original booking cost, however I wouldn’t have paid a penny had I have been told truthfully about the building work next door. I would have stayed somewhere else. As a couple, we paid a premium for this property based upon what was described when it was advertised - what we experienced fell far short of this and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing break.

This is a really nice house but our stay was greatly affected by demolition and reconstruction work in the adjoining house. House is comfortable and well laid out with great outdoor space. 3 shower rooms were assets.

The noise created by building works through the wall. It was loud and persistent throughout the day and began early in the morning. This meant the house was not pleasant to be in during the day. The rental agency were very good in helping us out with this and gave a reasonable refund for the inconvenience caused. Check about the stage of this work if you are thinking of booking this house.
