Otway coastal villas

Location

No plug for the bath - disappointing. Cleanliness - floors could have been cleaner. Mound around shower base - unfinished shower with exposed water proofing.

The villa was spacious, cozy, and just like the photos—far better than expected. The kitchen was well equipped, making cooking easy and enjoyable, and the heater kept the place warm despite the cold weather. The bed was super comfy, and one of the highlights was being able to step outside and see a sky full of stars—such a peaceful and unforgettable experience.

The only downside was the insect screen on the window, which hadn’t been cleaned and gave a slightly off first impression. Luckily, I just kept the curtains down at night, so it didn’t bother me much. The water stopper for the bath tub is missing.

No disturbance at all. Quite area.

The curtain on the front door only covers halfway, and the security screen isn’t locking properly, which needs to be addressed. Also, there are no shops in close proximity to the property; it’s necessary to drive at least 20 km to find restaurants or grocery stores.

Great location, it is about 7 mins driving to the 12 apostles. The place has large space and nice view outside. The manager is nice too.

It was unfortunate that the night we stayed there was extremely windy. The power and water went out around 11 pm. We contacted the manager, and he tried to reach someone to fix it, as it was freezing without heating. Everything was restored around 2–3 am. The manager kindly refunded us $100, even though we know it was not his fault.

Amazing views, friendly communication with the owner, nice wildlife, giant TV, close to coastal attractions and peaceful stay.

The edges of the driveway could have a little gutter or lip to stop an accidental roll over off the edge. Bbq at Banksia didn’t have all burners functioning.
