Beautiful location! Good was amazing and just an amazing place to stay!

Maybe a tad small but that was briefed beforehand and most tour time is spent in the social areas.

The property was so comfortable and cosy. It’s like staying at a friend’s house. It was very relaxed and easy-going. The lodge staff who welcomed us everyday were knowledgeable and hospitable. It’s was great getting to know everyone. The food was absolutely fantastic.

The property is very well maintained by lovely attentive staff who make the experience very relaxing. The food is of a high quality and is served personally by the chef who takes great pride in explaining the ingredients! It’s important to remember the challenges the chef must face with produce in such a remote area. The chef does a great job despite such challenges. All staff were super friendly and professional and made the stay extra special. The views are incredible. The wood burner creates a warm and inviting ambience.

Nothing! Everything is pretty much perfect!

- The vibe of the lodge was perfect. When we arrived we were told the lodge was supposed to feel like a home away from home and it was exactly that. Cosy and comfortable. We felt very relaxed but at the same time the staff's attention to detail and hospitality was amazing. We loved chilling in the lounge area where the fire was always on, chilled music playing and the perfect ambience. - The staff, in particular Oliver, Alton and Romero made our stay incredible. The staff were very attentive, knowledgable, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. - The food was amazing. 5* quality food every evening. The chef checked regularly if we liked the food and came to the table to chat with us each evening about the food. We loved everything but for example for other guests he went out of his way to make something that more suited their tastes. - The activities. We did husky sledding, whale watching and the northern lights tour. They were all excellent and well organised. We didn't get to see the northern lights on our tour due to heavy cloud coverage but the tour guide still went out of his way to try and make the excursion enjoyable. Luckily we had seen the northern lights the previous night sat in the hot tub. They have a full equipment room with everything you need for the excursions including snow suits, snow boots, hats, gloves etc. They will make sure you are well equipped for whatever activity you have booked. - Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would 100% book this trip again and would recommend this lodge to everyone.

If we had to choose one thing we didn't expect to have to pay to use the sauna/jacuzzi but it was worth it anyway.

Gorgeous lodge in a breathtaking location. The team is professional, very friendly and made every effort to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The lodge is built and run with much attention to detail and everything is top quality. Dinner is a fine dining experience based on traditional north-Norway cooking with a modern interpretation. Easily the best meal we had in Norway, and getting to know Erik the restaurant manager was an extra treat.

Lovely, serene atmosphere with incredible sea view. Thoughtful service and beautifully presented delicious food completed the visit.
