Faros BeachFront Villa

Fantastisk beliggenhed. Tæt på strand og kort til indkøb. God indretning af huset, gode størrelser på alle værelser med garderobeskabe i alle værelser.

Køkkenudstyr kunne godt være bedre, sløve køkkenknive, slidte skærebræt og kun et enkelt vinglas. Der var en lugt af skimmel i køkkenskabe og værelset i stueetagen. Fik ikke altid svar på mine henvendelser til udlejer.

The property was remote ( 45-50mins walk to Pervolia) so we had to hire a car when we arrived. Although the property was on a gated community, the back of the pool area was easily accessed by people parked for the beach so did not feel secure at all ( see photo) Cleanliness was not good ,pool was not cleaned on arrival , shower curtains filthy, bedroom net curtain hanging off the rail. Pool filter cover missing and could be a danger to children if they got their foot caught ( see photos) Tiles had fallen off the pillars in the outside sitting area and dumped in the bushes, wooden beam hanging above the BBQ sitting area that could have fallen if we sat there( see photos) Paint work flaking off in multiple patches around the villa ( see photo) One safe was locked , the other safe had no instructions, tried the usual process as per hotel room safes but could not get it to lock so we had to carry our valuables all the time. One wine glass in the cupboard between 5 people , had to use champagne flutes or tumblers. Building/painting in progress next door so found it difficult to park on the drive.

ניקיון. הכל היה מכוסה אבק, שמיכות לא נקיות, תנור אפיה מלוכלך ברמה שלא היה ניתן להשתנש בו והמון נמלים בכל מקום שעקצו אותנו. כנראההגם שהבעיה ידועה לבעלים כי היו כמה תכשירים לטיפול נגד נמלים שהשתמשנו בהם מתקנים. לא מספיק מקלחות לכולם, ברזים רופפים, אחד מהם נשבר ביום האחרון שלנו

Two thing’s what we liked about our stay was location and view from our villa.

Pictures on booking.com looks completely different from what we saw in real life. All furniture and appliances was worn out. One of the days we wanted to bake but oven was so dirty that we needed to scrub it first. Sink on the first floor toilet was blocked so we couldn’t use it at all. Outside drainage was blocked too and awful smell was coming out of it and it was flooding. There was four bedrooms but one of them was in a basement without window, very depressing room. We stayed two families with kids and nobody wanted to sleep in that room. Those pictures what you can see on booking.com are more then 10years old if not more. Villa needs a good clean and a new furniture plus appliances.

Good view, villa is close to the see and has a great view. The pool is nice so as outdoor territory, that's pretty much all.

Villa has pretty bad condition, furniture wasn't clean. Bathroom upstairs has a big leak and it wasn't possible to use it, plus leak at kitchen, so we were forced to call a plumber, which is not what I want to do on vacation. Room downstairs has very bad smell(dampness and mold) and it's not possible to live there. Place isn't suitable for 8 people!! Everything is way worse then on photos, All appliances are old and could break any minute. Huge number of ants everywhere! Plus some of sunbeds are broken. Definitely can't recommend this villa. Highly disappointed.

Everything was just perfect from the location to the facilities !

We stayed in a villa for one week with a big group of friends. The villa was perfect for a calm stay with kids, as there is a pool outside, which was cleaned two times during our stay. Villa has 4 rooms. Rooms included convenient beds with a/c (keep in mind to set normal temperature not toget cold), kids were provided extra beds ant linens. One thing to notice, which was not mentioned. 4th room is located in a basement without any window. There are two bathroms in a villa. One is on the second floor, which should be shared between two rooms, and second one is in first floor room, so room in a basement, has no extra shower, and should share it with first floor room. Kitchen icluded all necessary gadgets (toaster, microwave, dishwasher). A huge benefit for our big company, was second fridge in a basement. Hosts welcomed us with "starters pack" for a holiday - cornflakes with milk for kids, and a bootle of wine for adults, which was nice. The villa is located near Larnaca airport, so if you are coming to this airport, it will be just around 10 minutes to reach villa.

The biggest annoying thing for us was a few cockroaches. We would like to think that is due to climate and environment, but keep in mind that they can appear everythere, if you are afraid of them. And one last thing, near the pool are some ants, so don't touch the sides of the pool, if you don't want to get painfully bite.

Super quiet which meant a very relaxing stay. Accommodation ticked all the boxes. A welcome food pack was very welcome as we arrived late and it kept us going until we could shop the next morning. Information folder for villa useful.

Villa was generally clean but only superficially in some places. I prefer not to see evidence of previous occupants particularly in the bathrooms. Information for local area in folder was not relevant to Pervolia. It would be helpful to have information about local shops, restaurants and places of interest particularly. Gate barrier is only open by day. Arriving late meant we couldn’t access the villa development as the mobile phone to operate the barrier was inside the villa. We had to call the host which wasn’t a problem as she was able to raise the barrier for us but knowledge of the arrangements and procedure after dark would have been helpful in advance. Just a bit confusing.
