perfect villa for 2 people, lovely pool and outdoor area.

only downside was no air con but that is being really picky! it would not stop me from booking again.

Needed some additional shaded areas and sunbeds to lie flat.

The outside space was great. Very clean.

Hot tub - no need for it. Day bed could be better. No real kitchen cupboard space to put food

Location great. Regular and frequent bus to centre of Playa Blanca or cheap taxi. Also several restaurants 5 min walk if don't feel the need to go anywhere. The garden and pool area are fantastic and amazing amount of space and given the wind much better than going to beach. House clean and comfortable. Good communication with management who were also very helpful. Nice conservatory for when too cold to lounge outside.

Nothing. A minor matter handles on conservatory door a bit wobbly but nothing that influenced our enjoyment.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Mabel and were so impressed with the outside space and facilities. The outside area is huge, with hot tub, large swimming pool, various seating/sunbathing areas, and fully fitted bathroom that is separate to the house. It doesn’t compare to other villas I have stayed at before and when I look at villas now many of their gardens just seem so small in comparison! The location is quite a long way from the main tourist areas of Playa Blanca, however the Faro Park complex has bars, shops and restaurants if you need them and is only 3 mins walk away. The local bus stop is also only that distance away and we soon found getting around simple because the buses are cheap, perfectly reliable and scheduled usually every half an hour. In an ideal world, I personally would prefer to be nearer to the Rubicón Marina, but the villas that you get at the Faro Park end, for the price, appear to definitely have a much larger outside area. This property is definitely undersold on booking.com, as the description doesn’t really mention the hot tub, and states one bathroom, whereas it in fact has three! Also, the photos do not really do it justice. All communication with the owner was really good and I would be extremely happy to return to Casa Mabel again in the future.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, as it didn’t affect my enjoyment, but the bed sheets in the main bedroom need replacing as there are lots of little tears in them.
