Villa Tamia & Atlántico Marina Rubicón

Great facilities and lovely quiet area. Had everything we needed in the villa and we had a great time. I would highly recommend.

It would have helped to have an information book in the villa with ideas for trips, good restaurants etc. Also the air con was a problem for us as we could not adjust it ourselves. The host was really helpful by sending someone over to adjust it but all week we could not get it right. I know it is a new system but the people staying need to be able to control it. It operates (as it should when all windows and doors are shut as they have sensors) but it was so adhoc. I understand the need to save electricity/water but I would rather pay extra and have it on when I want to. This does not impact on how good the villa was and we would certainly return again if they can get this sorted.

House was great , clean and ideal for family, location could not have been better - walk to the harbour and all facilities there.

The property is in a fabulous location a 10 minute walk to the Marina it’s very spacious, with a really useful separate outside barbecue area to shelter you if it gets too windy. The sunbeds are really comfortable aswell as the beds. There are plenty of towels and the washing machine was great. We did have a few issues with the air conditioning and the internet but Kamal had everything sorted very quickly and was very communicative.

The kitchen lacks a few essentials with 5 of us travelling we couldn’t afford to eat out every night so did quite a bit of in-house cooking but there were no mixing bowels or even a measuring jug or any kind of jug so I would’ve loved to have a few more kitchen utensils and the outside clothes airer was a bit fragile it kept coming apart.

lovely villa. More modern than the photos do it justice. Good sized pool. a great location from the marina which has great restaurants and places to drink. A nice walk to the main resort of Playa Blanca of about 15-20 minutes, but we prefer the marina.

nothing negative but would have liked nicer wine glasses. But that is such a minor gripe and no dishwasher. Neither of which would ever prevent us from re-booking of course

The Villa is situated a 10 minute stroll from the Rubicon Marina with all it's bars and restaurants. The local supermarket is about an 8 minute walk. The villa is situated in a very quiet cul de sac with parking available on the road. The villa itself has a lovely pool, which kept our grandchildren who can both swim fully entertained. The bedrooms were large with plenty of storage and although fitted with air conditioning units we all choose to use the silent ceiling fans on hot nights. The kitchen and lounge are are perfectly large enough for 6 people. Outside the two covered areas gave great shade during the hot midday sun.

The villas is in a fabulous location, just a 5 minute walk to the Marina Rubicon. We liked the secure driveway parking for our hire car.

The beds were not that comfortable and the bed in the main bedroom was very creaky.

the Villa was in a quiet location near the busy marina with loads of restaurants which meant you didn’t need to go into the town all the time. the Dorada beach is only a 20 minute walk along the seafront with a good restaurant/bar above it. the pool is warm and well maintained and was perfect to cool off - the weather was fantastic! having two bathrooms was perfect and there is a laundry area for an occasional quick clothes wash if needed. the wind can come up but there is an excellent sheltered barbq area which is a bonus. we had a great time.

if you’re eating in more, perhaps a few more plates and cooking utensils - but that’s being picky!! 😏

Great location, easy walking distance to Marina Rubicon and restaurants. Very comfortable villa with everything you need. Lovely heated pool. Very private property. Villa Tamia has off-street parking, Villa Atlantico has a bigger pool.

Nothing not to like! It is even nicer than the photos, rooms have been repainted since photos were taken.
