The view from the property is stunning, a real oasis. Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen are all spacious and clean. Good water pressure in the showers and effective air con units. Staff very friendly and responsive and a maintenance person was sent out very quickly when a drain became blocked.

The location is a bit tricky to get to and you can only drive there, so you can't walk to any bars/ shops, would recommend having your own car. There is a local taxi company too. The property needs a bit more upkeep : The fence around the pool is falling apart in a few places, and if you leaned on it a bit, it would have fallen over. The bottom bannister on the stairs was wobbly. The wall light opposite the pool came out of the wall. The cover surrounding the inside of the handle on the front door hadn't been screwed in properly and so fell off. There were large cobwebs on the ceiling above the kitchen door and inside the fireplace alcoves. Floor around the pool under the trees was quite dirty, could do with a sweep/ clean in between guests. Also lacking a lot of things in the kitchen, not enough stuff for 7 adults staying for a week: There weren't enough mugs or glasses for everyone. Only 1 baking tray that leaked. No rack or handle for the grill pan. No oven gloves. Only 1 small chopping knife that was so blunt it was useless. No collander. No oil/ salt/ pepper (usually these are basics for self-catering places). Really needs a welcome book to explain things like where the bins are (right at the bottom of the hill), the road rules of the junction that lead to the villa (not really clear if you're not a local), nearest shops/ restaurants etc.
