Villa Alegria

The villa is in a good location, with a nice garden outside including mini golf course which we enjoyed. It’s spacious and flat which was good for our one year old to walk around on during the stay although it was unfinished with rolls of astroturf stacked up. We enjoyed the selection of pool toys and there was plenty of outdoor seating and sun loungers for our family. The villa itself was well laid out and we appreciated the stair gates for our toddler.

The electricity repeatedly trips (so much so that there are instructions in the guest handbook on how to rectify it, which unfortunately did not work) so we experienced countless power outages which was very frustrating and did negatively impact our holiday, although we did receive a partial refund to make up for this inconvenience. We also could not use the air conditioning (due to it being in debt) and had to call out the maintenance guy a few times for different issues during our one week stay too which was pretty frustrating.

The property was well maintained well equipped and had everything you could want. The pool was lovely and warm and the garden was beautiful.

Nothing all Was good

We liked the location a lovely quiet area within easy walk of the beach and town, great pool and fun crazy golf. Really nice touch to receive the welcome pack of tea, coffee and some delicious food and drinks.

Unfortunately the sound travels between the villa and the adjoining property, meaning that the noise from our neighbours felt quite intrusive at times. Whilst we loved the welcome pack, we would have liked to have found some basics such as bin bags, hand soap, antibacterial spray, cooking oil, salt & pepper. These have usually been provided at other villa stays. Also, no plug or washing up bowl for the kitchen sink made washing up trickier, but great to have such an efficient dishwasher.

This property has zero upkeep No oven trays no Pyrex dish Not one full set of glasses or cups it sleeps 8! No barbeque tongs or any barbecue equipment One bedroom with a/c but no controller Bedroom 1 had a bathroom mirror with 4 bulb back light only 1 bulb worked also bedside lamp bulb blown Bedroom 2 had 2 blown bulbs Swimming pool needed cleaning after day 4 but did it our self no problem really Coffee machine didn’t work Small 1 litre kettle in kitchen for a house for 8 ! Swimming pool night light not working It goes on and on

Air con, big space apart from tiny kitchen, garden area & pool size. Very private.

Tiny, ill equipped kitchen- no baking trays, dirty frying pan and no dishes for the oven. BBQ not very good, had a problem with the pool which took a day to fix. Pillows were awful and not enough- had to use sofa cushions.

How spacious it was inside and out and very private so couldn't be looked upon from other properties. Our host Gudja couldn't have been more helpful,accommodating and always so polite with any issues we encountered which just added to our holiday experience.

The pool wasn't heated so I only personally used it once while there.The kids didn't mind but for a grown up I found it way to cold.

The space was great and suited two family’s well in terms of bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor space was lovely. private and plenty of space for children to run around in. good fridge space. the air con worked well.

the swimming pool wasn’t very clean when we arrived. we were told that the cleaner would come on day 8 or 9 (of a 10 day stay, which is not good enough). I had to try and clean the pool myself with little equipment and it was particularly bad due to kalima. I sent photos of this to the management company but was ignored. The pool cleaner never came. We didn’t use the pool in the last few days as it was so dirty and the level had dropped by two inches so the filtration system didn’t even work. The kitchen only has one plug socket and was very poorly equipped for a house for eight people. we had to ask for more forks as there were only 5. A mish mash of glasses…only 5 wine glasses and 5 mugs. Nothing to sweep or clean with (we eventually found a discarded dustpan and brush outside). the communal bathroom shower head was in bits lying in the tray. it states there is satellite tv. this is non existent, so we spent an hour connecting the tv to the internet so we could Samsung cast our phones. there is clearly a damp issue downstairs and on our last day water started pouring through the bedroom ceiling. this is clearly a pre existing problem that has never been fixed as there was mould and flaking pain there already. I suggest that the management company spends some time in the house, as many things need money spending on them and smartening up. for two thousand pounds we were left disappointed with the first holiday we have had in three years.
