Spacious and a great layout and general facilities.

Upstairs bathroom had not been cleaned following done work that had been done on the toilet ceiling. Plaster dust on floor and porcelain and splashes of wet filler on walls. Also, much crud on wash basin tap. Kettle fails to turn itself off.

The location for us is great, we’ve stayed close by before. The overseas supermarket and HiperDino is just a short walk away, plus a couple of lovely places to eat. There’s also a small bar where you can leave luggage for a small fee if needed. It’s a really nice walk to Marina Rubicón too, across the coastal path. The bed in the upstairs main bedroom was really comfy so that was a bonus. The main TV was also really good. A great size and lots of channels such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disneyplus. The pool was great and was cleaned during our stay.

We stayed in Villa 15 and it’s in desperate need of some renovations! Some of the door handles were loose and doors difficult to lock. The downstairs bathroom window wouldn’t open and the hairdryer in there didn’t work. It sounded like it was about to blow up. There was some kind of piped music/intercom system throughout which looked liked it’d been there since the 90’s. I can’t really see who’s going to be using that? USB ports would have been much more useful. The air conditioning units were pretty terrifying if I’m honest! They either didn’t work or were absolutely filthy! The one in the main bedroom upstairs was covered in mold. The toilet lid in the upstairs bathroom was also broken. One of the beds in the twin room had the most horrendous squeak when you moved even an inch! It’d wake the dead! More lighting would have been good in the kitchen area too. It’s very dark around the sink and worktop. Some oven trays and a few more utensils also wouldn’t go amiss. The sofa in the living area was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had the displeasure to sit on. You may as well sit on a plank of wood! The outside seating was no better! So so uncomfortable.!! The outside area could do with a good jet washing to be honest. We’ve stayed at this complex before but at the Beach Mate side and I have to say that they were the better ones!! We also asked for a late check out to which I didn’t really get much of a response. We could however have stayed in longer as our taxi collected us at 3pm from outside the villa and no one else was in after us and it hadn’t been cleaned. Not the best stay at Camelot Villas I’m afraid.

Nice villa, It’s about a 15 min walk to the marina Rubicon, which was a nice walk. The villa itself had most things you would need, in ours there was toasters, Nespresso machine and kettle. The area where the villas is located is in a secure complex, you enter using a PIN code for the gate (car) for the first time (can use the key fob after that). The outdoor area is substantial and nice. Undercover seating area at the side of the kitchen which was nice for meals. Sun beds and chairs for relaxing around the pool. Pool was heated too. There is a Superdino just 5 mins walk too which was good and well stocked.

The beds were uncomfortable but at that could just be our taste. Although the villa is nice, the surrounding areas are being developed. Not so much the noise element causing an issue as they weren’t loud (the area itself is really really quiet), it’s more just living in an area that is being developed, with tele handlers driving about, dust and breeze block houses stood empty. There was a couple of things for the owners to note, the upstairs shower is leaking somehow, not sure if water is getting under the glass shower door? Also the villa could benefit from having some plastic chopping boards and also a baking tray or two as there is only one Pyrex dish and 1 wooden chopping board, if you want to do a bit of cooking.

I booked three homes for my family and we had a wonderful holiday. The facilities were good for a holiday home. We did not hire a car / cars. We walked to the marina, used taxis (which are cheap), and the local bus service.

We had a few minor issues which were resolved quickly after contacting the LIVVO team.

Only issue we did have to put up with is the toilet in the downstairs was constantly dripping running - needs repairing

The villa lacked welcoming feel. A small welcome pack would have been appreciated. The villa also lacked some pictures and cushions to brighten it up a bit. It also lacked some information about the area.
