Valentina Villa Private Pool Garden

Villa was beautiful and clean, there was a shop.near but a bit of a trek with bags of shopping. Area was quiet and safe for families. While not walking distance with small children a taxi only cost about €4 to get into the main square. We would definitely return.

There was a pine tree over by the pool and pine needles were constantly falling into the pool. Also I emailed to ask about the bin service as the rubbish was piling up and no adequate place to store it. However i got no response.. I also emailed to see if it was possible to drop our bags off until it was time to check in as we had young children with us , I also got no response to this. It was just a pity we hadn't more contact from the host.

Nothing not to like

Perfect villa. Lots of excellent facilities. Wonderful and relaxing. Excellent children's playroom downstairs very well equipped. (If you have kids coming could I recommend removable stair gates) Peaceful and quiet

Outside of teguise. You can walk to Barcelo but anything else is hire car or bus. No short cut to large Spar nearby had to walk out the scheme to go round (not owners fault) No welcome pack or any local information ie taxis buses etc Cleaners arrived as we did at 1735 at night. So we had to wait with a yount child after a long flight Baby's cot was dirty grimes and we had to hire one locally for the stay The same cleaners went next door at 1800 after another family arrived. Very messy. On the subject of these cleaners they actually turned up to the villa next door again midweek at 2200 at night and proceeded to make a racket for 90 mins. So if Astrid is using this company she needs to get firmer with their behaviour. I felt they were tip hunting. No sign of home owner or contact throughout stay

Very spacious and clean Villa, lovely pool and communal areas. Very safe and quiet. Great for a big family catch up, relaxing by pool. Well equipped. Responded to queries eg came and dropped batteries for devices that were missing. You can see the sea from the garden but the nearest beach is small - you need to travel to the main Costa teguise for proper beaches, by car. Pool got cleaned during our stay. Would recommend!

Location: you need a car to get to the main town (if you have kids / elderly who can’t walk long distances). Location and layout of the complex is such that even though the supermarket is nearby it’s a slightly awkward walk (15min) Playroom: we were excited from the pictures but it looks totally different to the image (there’s only a toy kitchen down there, and no pots and pans or other toys). It could be a great space with a few more toys etc. Supplies: not a negative but a few coffee pods, salt pepper oil would be a good welcome. Bin bags would have been good too. Nothing is supplied though the kitchen equipment was quite good.

Having found the property first on air b n b we feel the bedroom situation isn’t clear. There are only 3 bedrooms on the first floor and one near the front door that has no air conditioning. This was difficult to manage with two families of 4.
