Not much the shower was ok only for it filled up with water as the drain was no good

Not very well prensentable cheap furniture ikea bad bed cheap towels pool was not working for the first 4 days no reply for managment had to contact booking.com to get in touch with them cooking are had not much cheap kettle and few bits would not stay there again

the key safe located on the wall of the property, codes all provided in plenty of time, along with very detailed information as to how to locate the property, communication great, a couple of maintenance issues needed but resolved in a very timely manner, beds very comfortable, very quiet location, we made good use of the number 30 bus into Playa Blanca, would book this villa again, all the haters in previous reviews moaning about lack of kitchen utensils, this has been resolved, there are plenty to go around for a family of 6.

The kitchen facilities are adequate. The beds are mostly comfortable. The sheets and towels are changed after one week.

Outside is dangerous. Broken paving. Also pictures on all websites do not match reality. Pool is filthy. I’ve come home with an ear infection. Yellow line round the water line is unacceptable. Pool was attended but not properly cleaned. Muck remained on the bottom, we covered every night and when the pool wasn’t in use. Screens outside don’t work as they are broken. No light in the laundry room- can’t be fixed during your stay was the reply. One bedroom had no AC- reported but nothing done. No where in the kitchen to store food- all cupboards have dishes or pans in them. No cleaning products. Ants in the dishwasher. Cockroach in the laundry room. Sheets don’t fit the beds. Loungers replaced at our insistence but old ones left in the garden. Old pipe on the ground, pealing paintwork in front of the Villa and at the back. Artificial grass covered in stones and held down with paving stones- Many of them broken. No light for the BBQ - no electricity evidently. So cooking outside in the dark is impossible. Slab at the edge of the pool very loose. Drainage on the patio doesn’t work. Cupboard above the fridge is broken. Had to request crockery and glasses for 6 as there were 4 wine glasses, 3 large glasses and only 3 bowls. Additional crockery and glasses provided but didn’t match. Contacted agent on many occasions but told concerns were minor! Beach Villas need to address the state of this property with the owner and deal with all the issues. Also had to have blind replaced, new airer provided as the one in situ was broken and sharp. Definitely not a Villa for children as there are so many hazards. Also found toilet paper on the shelf in the en-suite. Toilet seat was broken, replaced with one that didn’t fit and also was loose. Front door scraps the floor before it’s open fully. Litter and maintenance screws and washer’s in the garden.

Tras casi 1 hora esperando en la puerta, entramos y vimos que en la cafetera había posos del café del anterior inquilino y tuvimos que realizar numerosos esfuerzos para abrir la contraventana del salón ya que estaba rota. Tras realizar varias llamadas al señor Javier (muy maleducado) se nos envió personal de limpieza, no sabemos para qué, pues ya habíamos limpiado la cafetera y también otra persona para reparar la contraventana, pero que desistió por no tener arreglo. A dichas personas les mostramos (y fotografiaron) los defectos encontrados pero sin realizar reparación alguna. Posteriormente fueron a reponer 2 bombillas entrando en la vivienda no estando nosotros en ella (hecho muy grave). Describimos los siguientes defectos encontrados (y aportamos fotografías): - toallas raídas y rotas, sabanas, colchones y almohadas viejos y totalmente incomodos. - lámpara de mesilla que no funcionaba, falta de iluminación general que impedía incluso leer. - falta de secador y soporte del secador desprendido de pared en el otro baño, percha rota en uno de los baños. - sartenes inservibles, puertas desencajadas en muebles cocina. - existencia de cucarachas y hormigas que deambulaban por la encimera de la cocina. - no existencia de un mínimo de productos de limpieza. - enchufes e interruptores rotos y sucios, soportes mando a distancia de A.A. desprendidos de pared. - store de uno de los dormitorios caído y metido en el armario. - barra de cortina del salón a punto de caer por estar sus soportes desprendidos. - la zona verde alrededor de piscina era moqueta arrugada con baldosas tiradas encima de ella. - la ducha existente junto a piscina no funcionaba y en su base existían elementos cortantes y baldosas levantadas. - sacadera de la piscina rota. Total falta de mantenimiento en la vivienda, hecho no reconocido por el tal Sr. Javier, que incluso nos tildó de mentirosos. Nos sentimos presionados en la salida, bastantes minutos antes de las 10 se presentó personal para limpiar.

Good property, with 3 bedrooms. Quite small, but great value for money. Pool was amazing, and big enough for a family with 6 sun beds. Buddha in photos was not at the property.

Fairly small property, with limited extras eg. random crockery (some cracked glasses), no washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets, no salt / pepper cupboard essentials. Someone did break down the front gate during our stay, which caused concern. Maintenance team were quick to fix this the next day, and assumed it was probably an accident from another holiday-maker.

Great location walking distance to shops and bars. Comfy beds and great AirCon.

Poor Kitchen facilitates. Outdoor are a bit shabby and no instructions for how to operate the TV or Safelight channels.

Villa is located at very calm and beatiful part of playa blanca. It was little bit complicated to find at night because it is situated in a complex that you can not see outside. There are many little villas inside the complex and our was nr 5 that situated first street on the left if you enter the complex from parking area. Villa was nice and spatious. It felt very private despite the fact that neighbours were actually everywhere arround you. Heated pool was the best and water was really good temperature. Pool towels were provided as well. Kitchen was well equipted only cooking pans were a bit outdated and i suggest to replace them. You shoultd be aware that you must bring shampoo, dishwashing detergent and sponge, washing powder, pin bags, toilet paper (there is 2 rolls) salt, sugar, coffe, tea, etc. There is nothing provided at the property but we knew it from prevous comments already. someone wrote here that some stuff entered there randomly then nobody disturbed us while us being there. Although there was a note at check in documents that pool cleaners might come at some point. Outside seating area was wery comfortable. Near the villa was Hyper Dino supermarket but that was pretty expensive. We prefered Aldi that was not that far if you have rental car. There were nice beaches nearby. If you like more refined beach with toilets, showers etc then Playa Dorada was nice. If you like more natural beaches and you do not afraid several kilometers of rocky and bouncy road then Playa de Papagayo is your cup of tea. About location if you afraid its too far from all te touristy places then from one side of island to other side it takes 1 hour and the roads are in really good condition. Wiews are breathtaking and beatiful.

Villa Tropical had everything we needed for a family of four. It was comfortable and clean and the pool was ideal. (The fact it was heated meant no worries using it in February)

A lot of the negative points from other people’s previous reviews have been addressed but it’s fair to say that the outdoor area could still do with a bit of attention - A lick of white paint, Astro turf securing down and floor tiles replacing. This did not spoil our experience though. The one thing that really should be addressed though is there appears to be no way to lock the patio doors at the rear of the property. To access these an intruder would have to get through a locked gate or vault a wall but regardless, this is a security concern.
