Villa Paula Golf Wine & Relax

The views were spectacular. It was so relaxing just what we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The pool was so refreshing pretty cold but lovely once you had been in for a few minutes

We had to hire a car as the villa was quite remote

Space, surroundings, outside amenities.

Minimal kitchen equipment, bed too small, also it would be nice to have soap in the bathroom.

The photos reflect how lovely this place truly is. A beautiful little villa nestled in the hills above Las Palmas. Easy access to the major roads to the north & south of the island. The villa was spotless and had great WiFi. Using our Netflix account was a bonus too when relaxing in the evening. Lou is an exemplary host, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble - we chatted happily even with my limited Spanish and her ( better!) English. I would definitely recommend car hire as a necessity. Also the local restaurant is about a 7-8 minute walk along an unlit road so take a torch. The restaurant is highly recommended too.

The pool was freezing! But we spent our time touring the island anyway, I did manage to get waist deep but it was a bit like an ice bath session. I’ll bet the pool is superb in the height of summer though. We’ve encountered this issue in other Canary Island resorts in winter so no reflection on our super host.

This lovely place was idyllic for us. Our host Lou was lovely. At night, the place was so quiet and peaceful. just before dawn, the birds would sing their hearts out. Around 10am to 12 noon, the bird of prey would glide over head and all the small birds would scatter. We would have breakfast at the table and watch the drama unfold. Having the pool to ourselves was heaven. Lunch by the pool. We would just chill and relax. We found the place spotlessly clean. We could join the motorway in a few minutes and decide to go south or north on our adventures. Thank you for making this 60th birthday holiday trip fantastic. Great restaurants nearby and although in a rural area , many spoke perfect English. If you want peace and quiet and the use of a private pool, this is the place for you.

The house was absolutely clean, had everything you needed, the pool area with its incredible views. Lou the hostess, she was always attentive to what we needed. Incredible location, wonderful to disconnect. We will repeat for sure

Lovely view and quiet place.

First of all is not a villa, is it an apartment attached to the owners' villa. Inside in the kitchen all the plates and glasses are chipped, there are no decent pots, the oven is completely missing. Bad smelling bathroom, torn towels and smelly water too. Eveywhere is full of ants. At the pool you can relax just looking at it because the water is too cold to swim. It’s a pity that they don't invest more in the location because it has potential.

lack of pillows, no oven - usually when we come to the canaries we like to make the most of the lovely local fresh fish and cook it whole in the oven, pool non heated so couldn’t use it

Nothing,al good but there was no oven and you may want to find some taxi number before you arrive as there are no shops in walking distance .
