Villas Las Maretas

Location was good and the facilities would have been great if they were functional/clean

Clearly an unkept villa - the wardrobe doors were broken, the sliding doors to the main bedroom and downstairs sitting room were not lockable. The shower in the main bathroom was blocked on arrival, the door to the bathroom was also broken. The entire property was unclean with ants in the main sitting room, the blinds were in tatters. The hot water ran out after one person showered. The pool itself was filthy and not cleaned once in the week we were there. We contacted the owner and he sent a maintenance man out who arrived with no equipment and told us that the wardrobe door needed to be balanced to work, that the shower drain was sorted (it was not, we had to use another bathroom the entire stay) and that the water was hot and would not accept when we explained it ran out within 5 minutes. It could be a fabulous property if it was just looked after a bit better.

Fantastic location but to get around you need a car Easy instructions to get in, pool was nice. Fabulous access to the sea front walk. Very close to Lidl. Beds comfy and bathrooms clean, however soap dispensers were gungy and discoloured also it was a bit cold so we took at the blanket out to put on the bed and it could have done with a wash. Kitchen wasn’t properly cleaned and the utensils could do with replacing- no big deal if your not planning to cook meals there. Most important for us was coffee machine which there was and a kettle. When we arrived there were ants in the sitting room but we kept them at bay by sweeping the floor every day. The hot water will only do 3 very fast showers and takes a while to heat up when the hot water is fine.

Kitchen could have better equipment - some of ware in the kitchen was dirty

The house is very close to the seaside. All the three bedrooms at the top have windows at the south-southwest side. And it's an advantage, aas here the most usual wind direction is northeast. The big sitting room with WiFi and well equipped kitchen give a feeling of own home. The swimming pool is perfect for the children. Outside is possible to park a car. The neighbours are local people and they are very quiet and nice. It's easy to contact the owner and get the keys. It's p erfect place for a family vacation..

Veľmi pekné a čisté ubytovanie, lokalita super. Verím, že sa sem ešte vrátime.

Bazén mohol byť vyhrievaný, počasie sme mali výborné, slnečné ale bazén to neohrialo dostatočne. Ale aj napriek tomu sme ho každý deň na chvíľu využili.
