Villa Real Oliva

Apartments needs properly cleaned and redecorated has dampy smell.

The place is uncomfortable. Beds need updated. Twin room is down stairs with singles beds pushed together with no room to seprate them. some dangerous areas around the house which i had cut myself on the cooker top which could have beem anyone in my group. The pool isnt tiles its linoleum which has faded away and coming off in areas. Doors lock one minute then not the next. Smell of mold around villa. Hinges on doors as slack which i tightened myself as scared it would land on my three year old. Beds are super uncomfortable. Not enough towels and no pool towels so i would advice taken your own. Slow replys from host. Tables had scores all over them and just really needs completly updated. This is sad as this villa could be amazing but all of above has let our stay down.

The villa was clean . The shower was great with plenty of hot water. We were there 11 days and as there were only 2 of us we didn't get a towel change as there were some in the other bathroom. The supermarket is only 50 yards away so very handy . There are a few bars and restaurants nearby and the top of the strip is only a 20 minute walk.

The weather was cold and the villa has no heating . When it rained there was no where to dry clothes. Even though there are lots of different areas to sit you are always in the wind . I also didn't like paying a £200 cash deposit on arrival as that was unexpected and not mentioned anywhere that I had seen . There are areas with paint peeling of and the sunbeds could do with a clean.

Location was very good easy walking distance to amenities with a supermarket 2 mins walk from the villa

Although we were aware that the villa didn’t have air conditioning we thought that there would at least be ceiling fans so the villa became too hot especially on days we were out and about when we couldn’t leave the door and windows open. There was also no safe on the villa. It would have been nice to have some seats up on the other balconies.
