Location was ok Definitely need a car the area is remote which is nice but outside the property is poorly maintained The house and gardens were nice The sauna was nice the owner can put this on remotely

We didn’t like the fact that the pictures of the property do not resemble the current state although they have now changed one picture that shows the pool enclosed. Unfortunately there were a quite a few issues on arrival although after 2/3 days most of these were sorted, there was no tv in the lounge, no kettle, no cushions for any of the chairs, the gate was broken and the shower had no wall fitting bracket and the bathroom sink was leaking.

We stayed for a week after staying at the center in las palmas for 2 weeks. the place is on the mountain so one needs a car all the time, it is peaceful & clean. clean, the beds are very confortable & area is relaxing & we did sleep well. coz there is no noise unlike the city we have stayed prior to. very good that they allowed pet, the reason that we booked is for our pet to come as well. our bichon frise enjoyed running after the 3-4 cats who comes & visit the area everytime. i did asked if the cats owns by the villa but no.

Tv was not working so the owner came & found out it is broken so they have bought a new one but we asked not to install until we left since a lot of maintenance comes in & out to repair the leaking under the bathroom sink where we are not informed about, i just noticed in the evening the leaking sound & when i check under the drainage is broken & had a basin catching the water draining, (see photo) we are not informed about it but a guy came day after to fix it. should have informed us about it if not then we just had problem with water the whole bathroom if i did not saw it. the wifi is poor, as we should do some works online but failed to do so due to poor connection, we ended up to go somewhere down the area to have some 5G connection on out phone. the water heater is as well timer out just until 8 pm so we did shower cold in the evebibg when we cone home from the city at 10pm i die request though to extend the timer & they did but out last day has just cold water. we should stay until 1 pm on our last day as our flight is at pass over 5 pm but we dont have warm water to shower that day after messagibg back & forth so we ended up checkibg out at 11 to go on & shower at my sisters place.

Pool was dirty, we ordered baby cot in advance and it was delivered outside late at night, when we took to put inside one cat was sleeping inside. Aircon, tv, wasn’t working. There wasn’t kitchen oven. The person I was in contact was very responsive. Guests are expecting when arriving to work properly everything not to check what is working and what is not working.

The outside space was amazing. The tranquility of the location and being part of rural Gran Canaria was interesting and very relaxing. A car was a necessity but allowed us easy access to the north and south of the island.

Beautiful bungalow with everything you may need. A bit far from the town, So you need a car ať least to do shopping. Nice owners, good and comfortable beds, cozy sauna, 2 kitchens - that's really great. The owners were ready to solve the problems directly

Some things aren't under the care of the owners, So it needs some more attention: hamaks were broken, the stove wasn't completely working, a lot of hygienic staff was in the bathroom but salt and pepper we miss. The biggest accent has been done to extra lux care, but if some Simple things are missing Is not really necessary anymore. Generally we liked the house.

Villa Carlos Colorados is THE place for them who want to spend the holiday on Gran Canaria outside the tourist compleexes. The nearest neighbours are the donkeys, goats, chickens and the loudest of them, the roosters. The villa offers you a two bedroom rustic farmhouse with a separate backyard kitchen and three different woodburning grills. There is also a finnish sauna and a small pool. For a finn the water temperature 15 (march) was perfect to fresh you up after the sauna or the hot sun. Because the nearest restaurant is approx 2 km away, we did most of the food on open fire in the garden and the gasstow in the second kitchen. Thats why I would appreciate a dishwasher in the kitchen. Maria and Antonio where the most care taking hosts, and did take very good care of us in everything we needed. They surprised Caroline with a birthday cake, and also made us a lovely paella and a tapasplate, just to show us their hospitality. Cause Caroline need an electric wheelchair, they had made a ramp for the step from the livingroom to the bedrooms. Othervice the villa is wheelchair accessible. There is a narrow sand road about 1 km leading to the villa, so if you want down town and to the shops you need a car, but inside the fence you can find the most beautiful peace, and you dont need to put on any clothes at all if you dont want to. We highly recommend this villa for those who want they own paradise and not a tourist trap. Kenneth and Caroline

the property is a self sustained, eco friendly home that allows you a respite in a very rural experience. this comes with enormous pluses like waking up to a magnificent spectacle of sounds of birds, farm animals but also a pretty amazing view. it’s true the olive trees in the property cover some of it, but I can see the importance of not disturbing these ancient trees. the house is vey comfortable, well kept, clean. the outside kitchen is super and is the one we used the most even in December. the sauna a super plus even though as other customers said, it does require for landlord to switch the engine on ahead of time. Although it seems to be managed by Amanda, at the moment Antonio, her father, looks after it. a gem of a person who literally extends his arm to any extend to make your stay as pleasant as possible, a perfect representation of the richness of the island. Def a lovely experience to be repeated.

the knowledge of its sustainability is helpful because I would have then welcomed the little things, like yes, wifi is not great, the shower water requires s bit of art to master, when u find the right temperature, don’t touch it, you may run of gas and need landlord to come and change it, you def need s car to get there, and part of the rod is countryside, etc. I have seen in other properties, welcome booklets with instructions, I think this would be really welcomed. initial directions to the property was a bit challenging as a link was given that didn’t work until told to actually use coordinates. because it’s sustainability unpredictability is there and st times requires contacting landlord.
