This is where you want to go when you actually want to leave work behind. There was internet, but we did not use it.

This was not a negative for my family, but if I were traveling with younger kids I would want to know, there is no TV or microwave. If your kiddos want to watch a show, you will need to have it on a tablet or laptop. If they want a snack, there is a gas stove, but microwave popcorn is right out.

You do need a car as it is stand alone - which is part of the charm!

I could say that it was one of the best places we had ever stayed before. If to be honest, the first day when we were going by car to the house, the surroundings didn’t look very promising. As the house was near the road, it seemed at first that it would be noisy. Actually, we didn’t hear any road noise during the whole stay at all! We heard only the ocean and its waves, sometimes the birds’ voices. Every time I am booking a house, I am suspicious of the pictures which are on the booking site. This time when we arrived at the house and entered it, we were excited by the view through the panoramic windows. We were standing there for a while admiring the ocean and the volcanic landscape. We couldn’t believe that it was a reality. I felt that I could stay here forever. If you are a nature loving person and you also lead an active lifestyle, this place will be perfect for you! You can walk or run along the ocean shore, go to the pool or the sandy beach just 50 meters from the house. You can also ride a bike. There are a lot of good quality roads for road or MTB cyclists. If you are crazy about mountain cycling, choose the road to Tabayesco and later go up to Haria and Mirador del Rio, or to Playa de Famara. One month has already passed since we left, but I still miss this beautiful house, the ocean, the waves, and the view. We would like to go back and enjoy the real Lanzerote again.
