Had to drive to go anywhere

The villa has a beautiful swimming pool which is exactly at the right temperature. Our kids both learned to swim here, so lots of lovely memories made! The Villa is in a super secure and lovely golf complex. Security guards constantly patrol the resort, which certainly gives you peace of mind. The Villa has all basic facilities you might need, an iron, hairdryer, cooker, vacuum, pots & pans, microwave etc. The owner and housing agency were always on hand if we had a question or a small issue. Fabiola from the agency was fantastic, always there to help. La Zenia and Villa Martin are great places to eat nearby. Just make sure that you have a reservation for each restaurant -every evening. Spain has changed a lot since covid, it’s rare that you can just walk into a restaurant without a reservation anymore!

The Villa is quite outdated and in need of a bit of an overhaul- everything is tired and very overused. There is definite problem with ants around the villa (I guess to be expected given the location). Ant powder was left in the Villa, so we treated them ourselves upon arrival. You definitely need car- nothing is in walking distance (even the complex restaurants). We had a car, but on the one night that we wanted a taxi to La Zenia, nobody would come up this far for us. We did manage to find a reliable taxi firm in San Miguel, but you’ll need to book a day in advance. We bought our own pool towels, you can get them from most supermarkets for €10 each. Bring the mosquito spray, you’ll need it!

This Villa is absolutely stunning and the location is perfect. The decor is clean and modern. You are not over looked and you feel very safe as security is high at the main gate. The complex is huge and you will need a car to get about. It felt like a home away from home and we have already booked our stay next year. Can't fault anything. Was a perfect place to stay as a family or 4 (2 adults and 2 children).

The builders next door constantly smoking Canabis

This is a Five Star Property in a Five Star Resort. We spent almost three weeks in this villa and would highly recommend it. The owner was very helpful and was always on hand to answer a query. We will certainly return to this property. It was a home away from home. Great outside terrace and fabulous barbecue with all utensils supplied.

The pillows were very uncomfortable and two of the sun loungers were broken but overall these didn’t detract from our stay
