Grand Tbilisi Villa GS

This is an excellent property to stay. All the bedrooms , kitchen and common areas are well maintained and provide comfortable stay. The location is about 30 min from the city center in a good neighbourhood with several supermarkets nearby. Hosts are helpful to answer any questions and arranged a microwave (their previous one was broken) promptly.

There is only 1 bathroom and it is on the ground floor while the bedrooms are on first. There is a toilet on the first floor. There are few maintenance related issues like leakage on bathroom ceiling and a few worn out mattress.

The villa is in a quiet area with a private parking space which was a major plus for our large travel car. There was everything we could need in terms of cooking utensils, towels, etc. The host even offered us some of his wine collection (unfortunately we don't drink) and left us their home grown fruits for us to enjoy. The WiFi was mostly ok (although we had to find and turn on the second router upstairs, which was switched off when we arrived). I also like when problems are resolved: when we discovered a leaking washing machine cuff, the host arranged for repairs the next day and it worked perfectly afterwards.

There was some payment confusion, I thought we agreed that paying with a card was ok during our chat, but when we arrived there was no payment terminal, so we had to wait for some time until the host fetched it, and we paid without problems afterwards. The bathroom upstairs didn't have lights, it appears there was some electrical accident before we arrived that the host didn't have time to fix, but this was mostly a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately during our stay there have been some very cold nights and we discovered at least two rooms upstairs didn't have good window seals and became too cold. However at least one room was well insulated, so again it was mostly a minor inconvenience for us.
