Villa Amo by the lake

Asunto täytti kaikki toiveet: jokaiselle oma viihtyisä huone, yleiset tilat olivat tunnelmalliset, sauna kivantyylinen, järvessä oli ihana pulahtaa, keittiön varustelu yli odotusten: retkitermospullot ja laadukkaat ruoanvalmistusvälineet.

Ihana mökki, kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi ja hieman enemmänkin kuin osasi odottaa.

Wc-paperi, talouspaperia ja tiskiainetta ei löytynyt lisää. Ovet tosi hankala saada lukkoon, kun niin tiukat.

Upea mökki ja ihana maisema

Todella hieno, tilava sekä viihtyisä mökki. Hyvät sängyt!

Grillin kaasupullot (2kpl) olivat tyhjiä. Pesukone ei käytössä (kieltolappu luukun sisällä). Alun epäselvyys varauksen suhteen sekä vuodevatteiden saatavuudesta.

The house is fully equipped, very nice the lake.

Some lamps were not working, some items broken,but overall ok. Sauna heating to 90C needs long.

Everything!!! The villa is beautiful and comfortable and inviting. It felt like home. The lake is wonderful, and so are all the accessories such as the boat and sap. The sauna was perfect and so were all the other instruments in the villa. It was close enough to atractions and to Ruka. It was so pleasent in the villa that some evenings we preffered to stay in and eat in the villa instead of going out. The perfect place for a vacation. We would love to return.

Location was AMAZING. The cabin was cozy and a central living area made it feel perfect for us photographers to chat, have dinner and listen to music together.

A bit crazy that bed linen and towels are an extra cost. With well over 100 bookings on booking.com I’ve never seen that. Could have been cleaner. The dish washer was not emptied, the fire ashes not cleaned out and a couple of rooms had dirty glasses left by the bedsides. Because of the cold weather the garbage truck hadn’t been around so bags of rubbish were left by the door entrance on arrival. The host should take responsibility and move these out of sight, no excuses. The shower room should really have a curtain over the door also. This place has the potential to be absolutely paradise. The cabin itself is amazing. Forget about the “Nintendo Wii” and other games consoles and spend some money on little touches to the cabin that people would appreciate. With small investment and some common sense, this place could be top class. Oh and the front door is hard to open and lock and the back door doesn’t lock at all.
