Very comfortable and clean. All the kitchenware was rather new and in great shape

Ilmoituksessa oli paljon kuvia mm. rantasaunasta ja frisbeeradasta. Kuvia oli selvästi useista Villaksen mökeistä. Mökkiä varatessamme ei käynyt selvästi ilmi, mikä mökeistä oli meille varattuna.

Otroligt fin stuga på ett härligt ställe. Och bastun vid stranden var så skön att bada. Underbart!

Ihana sijainti, kaikki tarvittava ja enemmänkin löytyi mökistä. Huvila oli erittäin siistissä kunnossa. Näytti paremmalta livenä kuin kuvissa.

This was such a wonderful spot, absolutely loved it. The hosts were lovely and live just up the hill, and give you contact no if there's any issues (we didn't have any issues). We stayed in Villa Akuliina which is the one with a lakeside sauna, large lawned garden, and a very private location, no immediate neighbours. This felt to me like a proper Finnish house, not a villa, maybe because it has two floors with 3 very decent twin bedrooms and large shower room upstairs, whereas many villas have an open sleeping loft. There is another bedroom downstairs off the open plan kitchen / lounge. This definitely offers more privacy. The villa is very well equipped and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking etc. The lines, towels etc were quality Finnish brands, and the wifi was very good. The balcony upstairs was lovely, and a veranda which runs the width of the house - loved how the design enables enjoying that view! There lakeside sauna building was great: there's another shower and toilet, it is heated with wood (perfect! see pic) and it heats up quickly :D There's also a lovely view from the sauna itself (pic through the window), nice dressing room as you step in with fridge and a fireplace, plus L shaped veranda outside (pic) with sun lounger chairs (not in the pics). Amazing!! Would definately come back sometime when visiting this area. I would recommend this villa for a relaxing breaks with family or friends, or a lakeside break, for anyone who wants a good sauna & swimming experience, or even WRC rally accommodation. Keuruu has some lakeside trails for walking, start e.g. below the old church. There is some interesting history e.g. Ampiala monument to Herpman Guerilla Bro is near the villa https://www.keuruunmuseo.fi/index.php/naeyttelyt/verkkonaeyttelyt/153-herpmanin-pojat-isoviha-keuruulla, and there are two old, historic wooden churches in Keuruu and Petajavesi (Unesco World Heritage site).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the villa! Its stunning location right on the lake made for a truly memorable experience, with plenty of winter activities available just steps from the door. The serene surroundings and breathtaking views added to the charm, making it the perfect retreat. We would love to return, perhaps in the summer, to fully experience lakeside living in a different season. Highly recommended!

What a perfect place if you are looking for solitude, privacy, silence and nature. We never got bored with this perfect view over the lake. The house is surrounded by berry bushes and cranberries, so amazing. There is rowing boat which served us well. The lake is not very deep for quite a while which is good for smaller kids. The house is fully equiped and very clean. We came in August and yes there are moskitos but not millions of it and we just went inside during dusk. We highly appreciated this wonderful place and would come again.

As the sauna is located in the bathroom a second shower in the other bathroom or maybe an outdoor shower would have been comfortable. For less minimalistic people the small amount of (very nice and colourful) towels might be a problem.
