The Armoury

Convenient location for local walks and continuing to explore the western coast. Amazing views from the living room and very cozy setting with the fireplace. Well equipped and spacious kitchen. Appreciated the rural feel with only one neighbour and surrounded by trees, but the convenience of being directly off a main road to explore.

Downstairs tends to be colder than upstairs where the thermometer is (we stayed in December) but it wasn't a problem and we managed to adjust the settings as needed. Also note that the property is off a main road which didn't bother us (enjoy the white noise of passing cars) but some may not appreciate and or need to take extra care with kids/pets. There is small fenced area with a gate which you can latch surrounding the main entrance.

It was cosy & comfortable. Good location for day trips.

Double bed mattress has had better days, but mattress comfort is completely subjective! Some may love it.

The location was perfect. Ideally situated for what we wanted to see and do. We walked to the Glenfinnan Viaduct lookout via the woodland path at Glenfinnan Station. Fantastic!!! We visited the White Sands at Morar. Experienced the Jacobite Train journey from Fort William to Mallaig. Drove to Loch Ness to see if we could spot Nessie!!! The Armoury was a great base, clean and comfortable, quiet at night - Perfect!

Very appropriately located and a beautiful house with excellent facilities

Just one toilet can be a bit of hassle for the family the property entrance is at a ramp we’re the water stream is constantly on lead to a risk of slip hazard I have to be very cautious as I had small children.

Location was perfect. Host was particularly accommodating and communication was excellent. Layout great with bedrooms downstairs and living updstairs. Facilities were great - ie staple foods provided and details thought about. Would be spectacular in the winter. Close to Glenfinnan Viaduct and coffee cart across the road.

Everything was excellent. You can even enjoy looking at the rain from this location 😉.

nothing much to complain about except no A/C - the temp was much higher than usual so the house was very hot
