Stonehouse in Mani Penisula

Όλα ήταν υπέροχα

Το πέτρινο σπίτι, είναι πανέμορφο, με όλες τις ανέσεις. Το χωριό είναι πανέμορφο και πολύ ήσυχο. Οι γύρω παραλίες υπέροχες.

Amazing house, combining tradition with modern facilities. Excellent location, 7 minutes from two of the most beautiful beaches (Gerolimenas and Mezapos). The atmosphere and the spirit of the village takes you back in time. Mihalis, the host, is super nice and helpful, gave us some great tips about all places we shouldn’t miss visiting. Great experience overall.

WiFi reception in the main bedroom downstairs was not as strong as in the living room, but it wouldn’t prevent me from staying in the Stonehouse next time I visit Mani

Very nice house in a renovated tower building, in the middle of a typical Mani village. Perfectly furnished and organized. Everything you need is there, up to the beach umbrella and seats. Veranda, living room and kitchen on the ground floor, bedrooms and bathroom on the basement/underground floor (careful of the low ceiling in passages), a double bed/sofa on the 1st floor (VERY low ceiling) and a beautiful terrace with a big umbrella. Very close to Gerolimenas and close to lots of beautiful Mani beaches. Perfect accomodation, highly recommended except for....

...it is NOT an air-conditioned house. I am surprised to see it is still listed and rented as that, even after our complaints to the host and to Booking, but it is definitely not. It has three fans (still not enough, as there's none on the 1st floor) and the basement is kinda "cooler" as it's partly underground, but summers in Mani are very very hot and that may not be enough for you, so be careful. And again, if I flag "AC" in the search filters, I expect only AC houses to come up, not houses where the host says "well, you'll see it's cool anyway, there's fans" when asked about this. Also, weird to see that almost no reviews mention it.

Beautiful traditional house in a quiet, picturesque village. It ‘s located in a very convenient spot, close to all Mani attractions and sights!

Even the short roof of basement is lovely and cute.

We loved everything from this place. The roof terrace was unexpected, the view from there is perfect.
