We liked the city it was in.

Everything. False advertisement. It is not a beachfront villa and there was no pool. Didn't have any hot water after the 2nd day ( Sept 14th to Sept 22) and the host just kept saying that we needed to let the water run longer. The place was dirty and was 300m from the beach with 3 other building in the way, couldnt even see the beach. The patios from the rooms didn't have any tables or chairs. The villa is on the road and all you could hear were the cars and bikes flying by. Tried to talk to the host but she wouldn't let us go. We just wanted our money back but she wouldn't let us go. Didn't want to help in the situation and wouldn't admit that this was false advertising. We will never using booking.com again either because they didn't reply to our emails and the phone number wouldn't get through to talk to anyone. Absolutely ruined pur experience in Crete. The front of the house didnt have shutters so the street lights and yhe lights front the house that are on a timer were shining in. The room on the main floor didnt have a door or wall. Its totally open to the kitchen. All of this with a 2 year old that couldn't sleep because of the noise and couldn't shower because we didnt have any hot water. All we wanted was what was advertised. A beach front villa with a pool. Zero help from booking.com and the host. We just wanted our remaining days refunded so we could find somewhere else to stay. Confirmation image shows pool too.

The location is really good. Villa is big enough for two couples and two toddlers. It is new, well furnished and well located. The place is quiet and close to shops, cafés and restaurants.

The place has multiple issues. First of all there's only limited hot water due to the solar boiler. The owner only told us they also have option for electric heating of water after severs days of complaints. The upstairs bathroom has a big issue with sewege. The drains are not properly installed and often the smell of sewege is so strong you can't use the bathroom. For this price I expected somethign top notch and while the villa has potential currently the experice is very bad.
