GBThis villa is truly amazing, exactly what you see in the pictures. Family of 7 have just returned from 1 week in this beautiful place and would highly recommend. The weather was amazing being over 26 degrees everyday. On arrival to the villa we had a lovely welcome pack from the owners 2 bottles of wine and a hamper full of goodies. The property was cleaned twice on our 1 week stay with pool area and gardening maintained was so lovely to meet the owners when they popped by and they also brought us homemade cake which went down an absolute treat. Was super easy to get in touch with the owners also when we had an issue of being locked out of the property and they arrived to allow us access within 30minutes.
I would recommend there being a mosquito net over the bed in the bedroom in the upstairs of the property with their being dark wood around this was a mosquito heaven, myself and 2 children had quite a few bites from this area when sleeping at night. I would recommend there being 2 sets of keys for the property and also would recommend hiring a car as the property is situated up a hill and is around a 30 minute walk into gouvia or to the nearest bus stop. The bus was great to get around in from the bottom of the hill this takes you into Corfu town for 2 euros 30 per person which is so much cheaper than taking a taxi.

GBVilla Senses is a lovely property - the outside area with covered seating , barbeque and a really fantastic pool were particular highlights for us. The view is stunning, right down to the sea and the port where we watched the large liners coming & going. The Host looked after us, and the property in a very friendly and professional way - and also with personal touches like home made cakes and regular notes with info and details of visits. I can honestly say I have not experienced any better and we have rented lots of villas. A super home I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Especially the pool - worth saying for a second time as we spent so much time in it!
The only thing I feel renters should be aware of is that despite being some way from the airport the villa is under a flight path of some sort as planes climb up and away from Corfu so there is some intermittent noise. After a few days we hardly noticed this at all - in fact the bird which nested close by and regularly visited us to sip from the pool were the sounds I associate with our stay far more than the planes.
