Finca El Capricho

Lovely relaxing villa set in a private location amongst the mountains. It features three bedrooms (two on the ground floor, with one of those in a separate building next-door) and has two bathrooms, as well as a spacious pool that doesn't use chlorine and two outside seating areas, with one offering views across the picturesque landscape. We stayed a week and absolutely loved it! When booking I was a little concerned about how the drive there would be after reading the comments, and yes it is a quiet narrow and windy road for 15 minutes and yes I wouldn't take a Ferrari down there, the last few metres are also quite steep (25% gradient), but overall I didn't find it an issue in our little Volkswagen. The road is still tarmacked bar a tiny 20 metre section. When you come out of the villa, I wouldn't suggest turning right, instead turn left and go the long way around. You will need to drive about 30 minutes to reach the coast, hikes and shops.

The shower wasn't too powerful. The cleaners arrived at 9am (an hour before check out)... we were going to quickly tidy up before we left, but felt a bit awkward

The owner was very supportive and understandable in any way. The staff on sight was very friendly and helpful. Much appreciated!
