Kamilari Paradise Luxury Villa

Sehr schöne, neue Villa in toller Lage, mit eigenem kleinem aber feinem Pool (nicht beheizt) und 3 Terrassen mit Meerblick, hat den Kindern gut gefallen. Netter Kontakt zum Check In, hatte uns sogar ein paar Basics für das erste Frühstück besorgt.

Keine großen Downsides, eher ein paar kleine Details, die sich aufsummiert haben, sich aber recht einfach verbessern lassen, wie lose Türgriffe, knarzende Betten, fummelige Rolladenbänder, schlecht abfließende Duschabflüsse, kaputte Sonnenschirme und wenige Ablagen / keine Garderobe. Wofür der Anbieter nichts kann (sondern vermutlich eher andere Gäste...) sind die Katzen, die immer wieder vorbei schauen.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus auf Kreta. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die großzügigen Terrassen und der tolle Pool, die zum Entspannen einladen. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet – es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Gastgeber war außergewöhnlich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Ein besonderes Highlight war das selbst gemachte Essen von seiner Mutter, das wir gleich zweimal genießen durften – einfach köstlich! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Everything was great. The house was perfect for 6 people. We love the pool and the fact that we were pretty close (12 minutes by car) by Matala beach. The owner was nice and the communication with him was great.

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad in dit fantastische huis. Het huis is erg ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook het zwembad is heerlijk.

Wij vonden de airconditioning erg veel lawaai maken

Host was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. We accidently left the keys in the property one day and couldn't get back in so he helped us with a ladder access the window! Also provided us a bbq when there wasn't one. We loved the views and the pool.

Beds were not very comfortable but everything else was perfect.

Everything was fantastic

about the property: 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (ideal for 6 people I would say) as there are 4 single beds and one king size bed, beds were comfortable, cussions as well. two roof terraces (one north east, ideal for morning sun views and the other south west, both have great views). kitchen is well equiped, sufficient to cook dinner and enjoy at the big dining table. pool is sufficiently large, 3*6m I would say and it's neck deep, however there are only two sunbeds and not so much space around the pool. in Kamilari there is a bakery, a supermarket, some restaurants, cafés and also art galleries that are within walking distance (it's a hilly village after all) good proximity to Como and Matala as well as the cities of Timbaki (market on fridays) or Mires (market on saturdays). Host Eva is excellent and times for check-in & out are very flexible. A lovely surprise was that the mother of the owners came by with some food for us which was delicious (grilled fish, moussaka & pastizio)

I would prefer two or even three double beds instead of only one, but that's a personal preference...
