Luxury 1 bed Villa - great location - Peaceful-Hot Tub

Absolutely gorgeous characterful property with luxury facilities, particularly the master bedroom en suite! Great romantic stay in a great location and the kitchen was equipped with everything we could have thought to need

Couldn't fault a thing

The stay was all okay and was a lovely stay, very secure and all easy to get into to begin with. The hot tub was a good feature of it all however the canopy was taken down before our stay. The tv was still there with the hot tub but how netflix was advertise on the picture we wasnt allowed access to use it when we was there. I would suggest a heater could be put outside near the hot tub for when people are getting out and in. Another suggestion would be to have a television upstairs in the bedroom as we ended up sleeping on the couch as there wasnt anything to do upstairs once we got into bed. The shower and bathroom is brilliant and all for all a lovely stay however things could be added to make the price worth it.

Midges in the bedroom. Very strong smell of drains and damp carpet in the bedroom. To cover unpleasant smells they have airwick somewhere in the room which makes 100 times worse. Guests with asthma wouldn't have survived a night there.

Clean. Bed great. Good location. Loved the fire.

Heating controls should be left up to the people staying in the property. Remote controls where broken, the one for the hot tub didn’t work at all, so was told use the inside one. But the inside ones main ‘OK’ button was broken so basically rendered that remote pointless. If one of the reasons to stay was tv inside / out Netflix etc it wouldn’t be possible to use them as we couldn’t.

Wow! Great location with easy access to the town centre. Beautiful property and setting; very spacious and we loved the addition of the hot tub. Being pet-friendly was a huge hit for our pup, with plenty of green space around. Property was clean and tidy with good amenities in the kitchen and bathroom - we had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were incredibly helpful with excellent communication and lots of useful tips and guidance for the local area. Champagne on arrival was a lovely touch as we were celebrating a big birthday!

Nothing major, just a few small points that would have elevated our stay even more! Hot tub took a long time to heat up on the first day, so we were unable to use it. It was perfect the next day, but we’d suggest checking the temp upon arrival so it’s ready to go when you want it. The price is understandable given the large amount of space, but feels a little steep for a one bed. That said, the price for the property as a two bed is exceptional, and we did have plenty of room for the two of us. Bathroom is in the master bedroom and has no door - not a huge problem, but worth noting there is no separate toilet when property is booked as a one bed. Outdoor furniture cushions should also be kept inside so they’re useable once any rain passes. Overall, very minor points :)

Hot tub

This is our third stay and probably our last, opened our front door to rubbish scattered all over, empty beer cans, bottles etc, the big wheelie bin just as you turn into the drive was kverflowing and all over the drieway also. When you spend this amount of money its quite disappointing, spoke to someone on the phone who just said it hasnt happened before but that doesnt really make a difference to our stay! Its a shame as we stopped in stable end first and the stay was amazing.

Everything,such a relaxing place and very friendly and helpful people. Stunning views.highly recommend.

Didn't stay long enough

TV in hotub and the place is really peaceful.

We stopped in stable end last time and this felt dated inside in comparison, pillows were rock hard! I used cushions instead as they were that bad, also im assuming (hoping) the camera right over the hot tub doesnt look directly at it but it looks as though it does and this made my mrs a bit paranoid about being in there and kind of ruined that area for us. There was also no seating area outside like in stable end so we couldn’t chill outside either! Just didnt feel worth anywhere near the same price as stable end so we were a bit disappointed.
