Eglina Villa's

This was an incredible place to stay in Kefalonia! First off, the villa is very well laid out and extremely comfortable. We felt extremely pampered! The kitchen is very well stocked with what you need. We loved the backyard with the patio areas and super nice swimming pool. As it was extremely hot while we were there, it was so nice to have access to your own pool where you could swim and relax. Also, just down the road is an extremely nice beach area (Eglina's Beach), which we visited quite a lot. Less than a 5-minute walk, and it has umbrellas/chairs for rent and a bar area..:-)) I also want to say how amazing the hosts were. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful! We needed blankets, and they were there in less than 10 minutes! Any question we had was promptly answered. We had an issue with getting all of us to the airport on the last day, and they happily offered to help us out by storing our luggage temporarily. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again! An amazing experience!

Fantastic location near the airport and a short drive to lassi atrip with bars and shops and the capital. Being tucked away it was lovely and quiet with beautiful sunsets and a short walk to the beach. The pool was fantastic and the kids loved the basement room ! The owner and his dad were on hand if there was a problem and they were so helpful and friendly! We would definitely recommend this as a great private villa for families to get away from it all but being a short drive to life too !!

Having to go back to England!!

The "Perla" was the specific house we stayed in while on our vacation at the Eglina Villas. It was a beautiful home with many levels. The first level is the garage level so you enter in the home going up stairs to the second level. This level offers you a modern kitchen with all the necessary appliances and a dining area and family room. It has a beautiful view of the mountains and pool and the gardens around the villa. The stairs downstairs take you to a level where there is a bathroom right outside of the bedroom with twin beds. Below that level is a game room with a pool table. Then if you went upstairs from the kitchen level, you would find a queen room with balcony with its own bathroom outside of it. Then if you go up yet another level, there is a queen room with balcony with its own bathroom inside the room. Every room has closets and plenty of storage. They all seem equivalent in size. The rooms have beautiful views. It was a wonderful home to stay in. We rented a car, which we think is necessary. You get used to navigating the narrow roads in some places but the home is right near the airport and has some beautiful beaches nearby. The next town over within 10 minutes also has some great restaurants and beaches too. Mr. Jimmy was a great host. He checked on us to make sure we had everything. Ms. Julia did a great job in providing a clean home and freshened everything up mid-week.

The only two things that I would mention is that there was a garden/pool keeper that we believe was staying on the grounds. He would come out in the morning and evening and attend the pool and gardens when we weren't out there. This was a little surprising, but we got used to it, once we knew who it was. Also, there was a resort fee that was mentioned towards the end of the trip of $60EU. We prepaid the total cost, fees, and taxes through Booking.com so we didn't pay this extra fee to the owner. Mr. Jimmy was kind and understanding that all of his fees should have been collected through Booking.com. Therefore, it didn't become a problem at all.

Large villa in extensive grounds, very clean and comfortable. Lovely small sandy beach a short walk away.

Obviously the Villa is close to the airport runway - mainly aware of aircraft noise when they are taking off, not much when they are landing!

Property was as advertised, very clean, lovely indoor and outdoor space. Family was close by in case we needed anything.

Beautiful property and lovely owners - great facilities

We were a large family group relishing spending time together - sometimes it felt intrusive when gardeners would come around late at night, around the garden when we were eating etc…more privacy would have been appreciated or at least a warning.
