Mosquitoes when sitting outside after sunset. Fortunately screens on the doors and windows kept them out of the building.
IEThe house is spacious, well-appointed, and spotless. We enjoyed the private beach and the views of the sea from the house, as well as the large garden. As we had a couple of chilly nights, we used the fireplace, which was lovely. We rode the bikes, read some of the large selection of books (there are also games and puzzles), and even used the desk in the loft upstairs to do a little work that unfortunately interrupted our break. It‘s just a short walk to the café nearby at the ferry port, so we had their excellent coffee (roasted on the premises) every morning. It’s just a short drive to the supermarket and other shops, or to Lefkimmi town. We fell so in love with Agali restaurant that we had dinner there four nights out of seven - but the owners also gave us excellent recommendations in Corfu Old Town. We drove up three times to sightsee and shop, and dined at two of the recommended restaurants, which were excellent. It was a fabulous restful stay.
Nothing negative to say about the property - but be advised that a car is a must, and if you visit during the off-season like we did, many Corfu attractions will be closed or open at limited times. But the up side is absolute tranquility!
