"We greatly enjoyed the stay here and in Andalusia overall!"

9.0

The host Esthera is very kind, smiley, and helpful. She provided us with the local info and was ready to assist in case we need it. In front of the villa there’s the olive groove with one almond tree and a couple of other trees and plants nearby. You can walk there, relax, or indulge in reading a book. At cloudless night stars are vivid on the sky as there’s no light 'pollution' like in cities. Next to the pool, there are sunbeds, side table, a bigger table, and BBQ place. You can turn on extra lights around the house which can be useful when it’s dark outside. Overall, the interior was spacious, clean, and quaint. In the bedroom there was a chest of drawers, night tables, a wardrobe, and comfortable bed. As a plus a solid hair dryer with diffuser. The kitchen was well-equipped with e.g. spacious fridge, a tissue box, and a kitchen cloth. We valued heating options as during this period of a year, it can be pretty cold in the morning, evening, and at night. There were a couple of ACs in the living room and an electric heater in each bedroom. In the living room there was a table, sofa, coffee table, a fireplace, blankets, and TV with USB, HDMI sockets and smart capabilities such as Netflix, so we could listen to music and watch a movie after a long day of exploring Andalusia. Last but not least, the place was a great base to explore nearby villages, hiking paths, El Torcal de Antequera, dolmens, Caminito del Rey, and even more distant places in Andalusia.

"Extremely Relaxing stay"

10.0

The property was lovely and very clean the pool was a perfect size and just ideal with gorgeous Mountain View’s, the kitchen was well equipped and you had almost everything you could need !

Nothing the property was lovely, The nearby town does not have a lot, and if you’re looking to go for meals of an evening and venture out you’re looking a good drive away however if you’re willing to cook of an evening and stay in then it’s perfect

"Perfect house to make your home whilst exploring the real Spain."

10.0

The house was extremely clean and tidy and felt homely due to the modern country decor. The property is even better in person than it looks in the photographs! Beds were really comfy and all bedrooms had electric heaters as well as two AC units for cooling. Garden and patio were really nice and it was very tranquil in the warm evenings to sit outside with the orange, lemon and olive trees. There are a few local shops for food and supplies which you can walk or drive to, and Antequera is a short drive away where there are bigger supermarkets and retail stores. The views and scenery driving to the house every day were brilliant and driving through the mountains and past the olive groves never got boring! Esther (the host) was really friendly and welcoming, and the care that she put into the house really was above and beyond what you’d get in other properties.

There isn’t anything not to like about the property. Maybe if you prefer tourist hotspots then this may not be for you. But saying that, Antequera has a lot going on in the way of bars and restaurants and it’s only a short drive or bus ride away.
