Elpidis Villa

Ren och fräsch villa som hade allt vi behövde.

Villa była bardzo dobrze dostosowana do grupy, znajdowały się wszystkie najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy, aby samemu gotować. Gospodarz był bardzo miły i pomocny, proponował pojechanie z nami do sklepu, ponieważ nie mieliśmy samochodu oraz był zawsze pod telefonem. Blisko do plaży oraz kilku restauracji.

The villa was lovely, and the pool area with bbq was just perfect for our group. The villa was within walking distance of the beach and bars but had no properties close by, so we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. The washing machine was useful to have. Elpidis was very helpful and responsive when we needed anything, especially considering they had only just had a baby (congratulations again and thank you for the yummy food!). It was good to have the cars to be able to go a bit further afield, and there was space to park them at the front of the property, which was handy. The air conditioning was great and definitely needed. There are some fab places to visit in the area if you have a car, especially the Kourtaliotiko Gorge (an hour away), Matala (especially the Red Beach), and Agia Galini. We were a group staying for 10 days with 6 children from 11-16 and 4 adults, and we all loved it and were very sad to leave. I'm sure we will go back again 🙂.

Nothing. The immediate area is not particularly touristy if that is what you are looking for, but we thought that added to its charm.

Beautiful Villa , can not fault , great for family’s or group of friends. Outdoor pool , bbq . Not too far from the beach or local town . Great host very helpful arranging transport to and from airport , local taxi always at hand when needed. Thank you again for your kind hospitality 🤗👍

The villa is great for a big group. The host is friendly, helpful and kind, and communication was excellent once we'd arrived. 4 of the 6 rooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, balconies, and good, modern aircon. We enjoyed the pool, barbecue and patio area a lot, and found the kitchen pretty well equipped. The villa is a short walk away from a beach with a choice of beachfront tavernas and bars so we had the option of eating out too, and a short drive from a small town (Timpaki) with a big supermarket, pharmacies, etc.

We were perhaps an unusually large group (11 adults) and the villa was mostly fine even for us, But rooms 5 and 6 in the basement have no aircon (just 1 large fan between them), a shared bathroom, and you have to walk through one to reach the other. A bigger fridge or a 2nd fridge would also have been good. We had to wait a couple of hours to get our keys as cleaning wasn't finished when we arrived (although the owner was very apologetic, brought the keys to us at a local bar and paid for our drinks!)
