Tinos Traditional Sea Side Villa

Apartment is well equipped, and it has a beautiful view on the sea with 2 very nice terraces

2 bedrooms were without air condition and the rooms got very hot also during the night and sleeping was difficult although windows were open and ceiling fans were running. One bedroom is without a door. One of the 2 bathrooms was very small and each time you take the shower all the bathroom is flooded with water. The appartment was not very well cleaned (hairs in the bathroom, open bottles in the fridge, floors not very clean). Be aware that the pool despite was on the pictures, does not belong to the property and can't be used.

the house itself was very well built and decorated. plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, mugs, coffe makers etc. Dishwashing machine and laundry were super useful and convenient. Great views. walking distance to the beach. plenty of parking. Fast internet. beautiful landscaping.

the road getting there is a very rough, to say the least. This whole area, on both side of the hills leading down to the beach is basically under construction with at least 20+ properties in various stages of being built. As of now, there is a relatively wide dirt road coming off the main county road, and to get down to the property, and the beach itself, you turn into a super narrow, super steep (we are talking 20% or more) cement "road" that is not smoth, is full of potholes, and more importantly if two cars meet, one has to reverse back. We had a toyota corrola, loaded with 4 people and luggage and the bottom of the car hit the rocks more than once going down the first time. We sort-of-learned the tricky spots after a few trips up and down but really, I do not know how they give out building permits without making sure the roads leading there are accidents waiting to happen.

The villa was fantastic! Amazing location, right on a beautiful beach and close to many other beaches, villages, and Chora. It accommodated our group of 6 people comfortably. The communication with the owner was seamless. We will be back!
