Villa Casa Atitamo

Very comfortable beds and the house is so pretty. The garden was lovely. Communication was very good and easy. Location is very good: the house is surrounded by lovely restaurants and it's a 20 minute walk to the beach.

Despite clear instructions it was often hard getting warm showers if all 4 of us showered (briefly) in a row. The pool filter is quite loud and runs during the majority of the day. I get that this is for water safety but it did make sitting outside less comfortable.

Villa was everything we hoped for - an oasis in the middle of the beautiful old town of Rethymno. We only had to step out of the front door to find delicious restaurants. The pool at the villa was great for the kids after a day of sight seeing. Just everything we needed.

Not a negative about the villa - but a you are staying in an old town with tiny roads the parking is not right on the doorstep - but we knew to expect this and managed to find free parking for our stay.

Location was awesome, right in the middle of the old town close to everything. The property was beautifully renovated and the outside courtyard with pool was a bonus. Hosts were lovely and super helpful.

The property was hard to find, however the property is very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Our host was vey patient and very good in explains all about the property.

I have to say this is a no comment as the property is grand, no noise

Great location. Nicely restored and decorated space.

The person sleeping in the downstairs sofa bed hears a lot of street noise. Admittedly we go to sleep a bit early and are sensitive sleepers. Also some people rang the bell at 3am. We didnt answer and it must have been in error but it was still disruptive. Also the wifi signal was quite weak (we had to work while there, so this was a frustration). When the sofa bed was in bed mode, there was a lack of regular and comfortable seating indoors.

The location of the villa is exceptional, right in the centre of the old town, restaurants literally on the doorstep and it's amazing having a little pool to dip in after a day of sightseeing.

The only thing I can complain about is that the pool area gets extremely hot during the day in high summer but that's not the properties fault

the location was so central, the pool was a great bonus

the attic room is probably not a double bedroom if it is necessary to have one side of the bed against a wall, makes it difficult for 2 adults
