Ionian Vista Villas

The rooms were a great size for the four of us and the pool was excellent. We basically had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The location was good for access to both Argostoli and Lassi.

Breakfast was included but we had to go to the sister hotel for this which was a 15-20 minute walk away. We didn’t know this when booking.

One of the best places we've ever stayed! We originally booked a one-bedroom villa, but to our delight, we were upgraded to their best available two-bedroom villa. The villa was in excellent condition - spotless, with fresh towels provided daily for both the shower and the beach. A special mention goes to the lovely and kind lady named Vera, who takes care of the complex. She checked in with us every day to see if we needed anything and was especially warm and engaging with our child, making us feel truly cared for. Each room was equipped with highly effective ceiling air conditioning, keeping the entire villa comfortably cool throughout our stay. The views from both sides of the property were absolutely spectacular. We also had a small private swimming pool, which was a fantastic bonus—especially with views overlooking the port. The shared pool was equally impressive: super clean and meticulously maintained to a very high standard. The entire complex is surrounded by lush greenery and colorful flowers, all beautifully maintained by professional gardeners. There's also secure private parking with gated entry via fob key or code. The location is perfect—just a 4-minute drive from Argostoli city center and close to well-organized sandy beaches like Makris Gialos and Platys Gialos, which were ideal for our 2-year-old. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Kefalonia. I can't recommend this place enough!

Breakfast was delicious and fresh, although it wasn't on the villa site, we hired a car anyway and drove to the hotel for it. Our host was really welcoming and looked after us all week. Insane views of the coastline

Really struggling on this one as it was perfect. maybe the curtains in the bedroom could be thicker to prevent the sun coming through.

I had a wonderful stay at Ionian Vista Villas. The location is perfect—peacefully set between Lassi (5 min walk away) and Argostoli (15 min walk away), with just a 10-minute walk to a stunning beach cove. The views were truly breathtaking, with balconies at the front and back offering incredible sunrise and sunset scenes. The pool area felt like a private retreat with no one else around. The villa itself was spacious, with TVs in both the bedroom and lounge, air-conditioned rooms, and a handy little supermarket just five minutes away. I also highly recommend walking to Sto Pisto restaurant, only five minutes from the villa, where you can enjoy delicious food with panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. A special mention to the lovely and helpful cleaner who made the stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the uphill walk back to the villa—but the views and peaceful setting made it worth it. It is very, very steep.

We stayed at Ionian Vista Villas in October 24 (family of 4) and had a brilliant time. The villas themselves are in very good condition and were wonderfully clean when we arrived. We stayed in the largest of the five villas and had amazing views from both east and west terraces (so sun rise and set) as well as the 'turret' view up top which was exceptional. Beds were comfy and car parking was secure. Breakfast, if you want it, is a buffet in the hotel which is a ten minute walk there (downhill) and 15 mins back (uphill) - search for Ionian Plaza Hotel on Google maps. My wife is a coeliac and there was a selection of food available for her too. Maid was excellent and the whole grounds smell of rosemary and lavender. There is a washer and dryer in a laundry room near the pool. Nearest beach is a 10-12 min walk away (sunbeds, small beach bar) and restaurants about the same (although many were closed in October). Main town of Argostili is a 10-15 min walk away.

The only reason it didn't get a 10/10 was that there were a couple of key items missing from what is essentially the perfect stay - a fourth dining chair (was difficult for all four of us to eat inside with three chairs) and a microwave (and if I'm being picky, a pair of scissors and somewhere to hang jackets).

Absolutely amazing location for sunrises and sunsets. balcony at the back and swimming pool.at the front do you can make the most of the sunshine. All the added extras were great and staff were lovely.

Noise of road nearby. Very loud morning and evening in the weekdays. No taxi service from airport. We were over charged to and from the airport by cheeky taxi drivers that the hotel recommended. I dont understand why they don't employ a driver or make a deal with a local taxi firm.

The apartment was amazing, very clean and had beautiful views. One of the best places I have ever stayed in. Close to the beach, shops also close and just 5minutes by car to the centre/ Argostoli square.

Breakfast was really horrible, food was dry or burnt or spoiled. There was a ham that stank and was sticky, evidently ham gone bad. I have told this to the waitress there, she told me is fresh and left it in the tray. I have purchased breakfast for whole week and after first day I didn't come back because it wasn't edible....
