Tramontana

The property is in a lovely spot. Cozy and the the view of the island is beautiful! We Loved it!

We came to Hydra to get married. We wanted to stay somewhere on a magical island which also offered privacy. Sofia is a terrific host, the facilities both inside and outside the house are terrific. Also within very easy reach of the port if you want something livelier.

Superb property, the semi private swimming spot was incredible and Sofia was a great host. Loved every minute of it! Wi-Fi was not as bad as expected either

Nothing really

Sofia was a great host as was the accomodation. Even though it’s a 20 min walk from Hydra, this is what made our stay so unique. The walk along the cliff road was picturesque and easy. We did use the mules for our luggage which Sofia arranged for us. Being out of town it was quiet and the views were amazing. We travelled for 2 months throughout Europe and this stay was in our top 2!

The villa is immersed in nature, away from the chaos of the center. The access to the sea is amazing and the whole house is full of history and soul. A magic place to stay.

It was a dream. Nothing to say.

This is a great place, that has everything for your stay - literally everything. From fully equipped kitchenette with all necessary essentials like oil, sugar, coffee, tea, even complimentary water in the fridge, to beach towels. Two lovely terraces ( one covered an one with sun all day long and sunbeds), a balcony, you can hear the sea from your window. I also really liked the fact that there was a shower with closed doors, unlike in most places in Greece, so you did not flood the bathroom. The place is very quiet and safe. Sofia the host is really nice and helpful.

Be prepared that it really is far from the port - for me it was 25 minutes from the port and about 20 to the port ( the road is almost flat, yet with slight elevation towards Tramontana). If I was missing something it is maybe a blanket for colder nights ( the weather wasnt great when I was there) ,but probably if I'd asked, Sofia would provide.

Amazing view. Can’t believe we had 2 private balconies and a living room & kitchen to ourselves. Sofia was a great host. It was nice being a bit away from the main town, felt like we could really retreat by ourselves if we felt like it.

Wifi only worked outside.

Beautiful home, beautiful location, wonderful host. Sofia has made us feel welcome and like at home. I felt privileged staying in her family home.
