Villa Dimokratia

The house is really spacious, well-equipped, modern. The views are breathtaking. The garden and the pool area are beautiful. The should rather have a car, but the location is really good - just between Chania and the most famous beaches of western Crete. I sincerly recommend this house - really good value for money! Would love to be back!

A perfect house, inside and outside with a swimming pool and very nice dardening, in a perfect location. Nikos is a wonderful host, helped us a lot in planning before coming and also during the stay.

We loved everything

it felt like a palace, beautifully presented with very spacious rooms and wonderful views of mountains and coast from all rooms. There were multiple outside seating/ dining areas including shaded bbq area next to the pool and a vast rooftop terrace. The pool was large and well maintained as was the garden and all outside areas were private and secluded. The kitchen was very well equipped for self catering. the owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful, leaving a substantial welcome pack including home made honey, cakes, raki and wine. They were incredibly responsive, addressing a very minor query we had straight away ( even though the owner was in hospital after an accident his father in law stepped in).

There is a busy road nearby which you can sometimes hear depending on wind direction/weather but it did not bother us. it was also not detectable from the sun lounging area in the garden.
