Villa Irida Apartments Agios Spyridonas Peritheia

The villa looks fantastic. The pool and jaccuzzi for own use were great. Close to the sea, nearby beach and some restaurants (10-15 mins down walk). There is a small groceries store also nearby, but for larger shopping you will likely need to drive to the town (15 mins by car). There is a place to park your cars. The area is great to explore the island. We were given some groceries in the fridge before our arrival which was great also. The pool and jaccuzzi were cleaned once during our stay. The open kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine on the terrace. Air-conditioners worked properly. The contact with the owner was also good

As per offer you rent the whole place, but you have to bear in mind that the owners live on the higher floors of the villa and you will be loudly warned from the upstairs window if you decide for example to jump into the pool after sunset like two girls from our group. I know that jumping and some other things were prohibited as per the statute hanging near the pool. We were celebrating one crucial event and it unfortunately we broke the sheriff law :) and we were instantly warned so it looks that someone is watching if you follow the rules. If you are not using pool after dark (or at least you are calm and quiet), then you should be fine. However, in such scenario, the place should not be advertized as „whole place to rent” in our opinion. Also, although the pool was cleaned once during our stay, grass was also cut, the cleaning lady came only once - when we were leaving after 7 nights’ stay. You should take the rubbish to the containers a few kilometers from the villa which is fine, but a bit strange at the same time if there should be someone coming for cleaning as per the offer.

The location is amazing. Beautiful views and quiet, but near to facilities if required. The neighbours in the upstairs section were very friendly and made much effort to be polite and quiet. Villa facilities are very good. Having access to 3 kitchens is particularly helpful, and the shared kitchen by the pool makes such a difference to socialising, leaving the apartments free for personal space. There is plenty of shade around the grounds, meaning that on very hot days there is always somewhere to relax comfortably. Love that there are plenty of chairs and sunbeds. The pool and jacuzzi were kept immaculately clean and everything was perfectly ready for our arrival.

Very little not to like about this place, I can only suggest small improvements. Would have liked information about refuse and recycling arrangements. Also a list of local emergency contacts e.g. doctor, fire etc would be useful. A couple of extra pool umbrellas would be helpful to provide additional shade near to the pool. Maybe a fan in the pool kitchen area would help to keep the eating area a bit cooler on very hot days.
