Beautiful huge house with everything you need. Outside area is amazing as is the pool and the terraces. Great location close to the beach and essential shops.

The villa could have been a little cleaner.

The contemporary stylish villa. Tons of space for everyone and their were 10 of us from 3 families.

In our opinion there was nothing not to like.

This is an amazing self-catering villa near Rethymno. Upstairs 2nd level has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which open up onto a little Juliet balcony, the 3rd is separate opening up onto the landing. Bathroom upstairs with bath/shower and toilet. Large separate level 2 balcony off landing. 1st floor has a large open plan lounge/living area and kitchen with entry to a huge balcony with seat and swing chair. One bathroom (shower and toilet) and one separate bedroom. Ground floor has living area with smaller kitchen, large table and a TV area. This leads onto the pool area with folding doors, and separately to the garage and downstairs bedrooms which interlink. The bedrooms have a separate bathroom with shower/toilet and a separate door leading onto the outside patio area. The downstairs area also has a small toilet with washing machine. The garage doubles up as the gym/storage area. The floors are linked with lovely marble steps. The outdoor area has an amazing pool (approx 10m) which is 1.4-1.6m deep and has steps on the side. There is ample sunbathing space and beds. The outdoor kitchen area has a large BBQ section and pizza oven (wood) with basin and electricity, with a large table where we ate nearly every meal. The garden has a large neat lawn and childrens playpark/swings. Everything was spotless, the rooms were well furnished and all beds comfortable. All amenities were covered. Food treats waiting on our arrival. The villa + pool were cleaned mid-week. The location is 10km from Rethymno on a good road, 5 mins drive from Lidl and 10min walk to Pigi which has 3 nice local restaurants and some shops. The shop to the right at the end of the road from the villa is a trade depot store not supermarket. Arkadi monastery is 12km opposite way. The airports are about an hour's drive a way. The views of the sunsets from the balcony were very nice. Being here as with most inland villas meant driving was a necessity to explore the towns and beaches.

More sets of keys! We needed a few more sets as we were 3 smaller groups. Wifi is weak downstairs (1st world problems ;)) Even drier places have mosquitoes outside! We had to leave after 1 week...
