Luxury Villa Marian with Private Pool and Jacuzzi near the Beach of Georgioupoli

Absolutely perfect! The villa is stunning – spacious, surrounded by nature, and features a large pool and jacuzzi. We were a family of seven and had a wonderful stay. The four bedrooms were super comfortable, and the three bathrooms had constant hot water, which was amazing! The location in Georgioupoli is ideal – peaceful and relaxing, yet only a 10-minute walk to the center and just a few minutes by car. The house is fully equipped and everything was in perfect condition. We didn’t miss a thing! The hosts were incredibly welcoming – we were even greeted with a delicious homemade moussaka, which was such a lovely touch. Special mention to the excellent service: every question was answered quickly and helpfully, always with a smile. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The villa is located in very good place close to Chania ( 35-40 minutes) . Nice pool and hot outdoor jacuzzi.. very clean , have the facilities for breakfast and barbeque. Rooms are large.

Unfortunately the water pressure is not enough to take 3 showers in the same time, so you need to take only one shower in each time and for 6 people it is frustrating . Olso we had problem with hot water because the owner forgot to turn it on. It should not happen!! They were not focused on the maintenance status of some things in the house ( for example : our bathroom door couldn't be closed , the hairdryer did work )

Situated in the middle of olive groves and very quiet - just as we had hoped. The landlords responded quickly to every request, communication was easy and very much to our satisfaction. The housekeepers on site were extremely helpful and proactive. The heated pool in winter was great for a morning swim.

The Villa is on the edge of the town of Georgioupolis just 12-15 minutes walk and a little further to the beach. This meant not needing to take the car every day. It sits among olive groves with the backdrop of the hills/ mountains. The Villa has several areas to sit out and the bedrooms upstairs link to balconies to sit out on and enjoy the views. Facilities within the Villa worked well and we used the gas barbecue too. Great to cool off in the pool, and it felt luxurious to have the jacuzzi. The cleaner coming midway in our week was much appreciated as was the pool/ jacuzzi check. Easy to drive to the beach, lake and Rethymno and Chania. Public transport and taxis available in Georgioupolis. Excellent communication with owners of the Villa. We definitely will revisit.

Cant think of anything not to like. All was carefully thought through to make such a great experience.

We were 6 adults and a toddler and we loved the villa. The kitchen is well equipped and basic supplies were left for us including bread, snacks, oil, soaps etc. When we arrived one bedroom was missing a curtain but this was taken care of the next day. Although the kitchen/lounge area doesn't have an air conditioner, we asked for and received a fan. Also the air conditioner of the downstairs bedroom can be used to cool the area and anyway we sat outside most of the time. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. The place was very clean and feels new. Although there is a shared drive with the neighbouring villa, you have complete quiet and privacy and we never heard or saw our neighbours. Cleaning service was kindly offered in the middle of the stay but we declined. The garden is big and surrounded by olive groves and you really feel you are in the countryside although it is literally a 7 minute walk to the charming village. You cannot beat the location – beautiful beaches, lots of tavernas and shops within walking distance. Try the old style bakery for hot bread and pies! Kalivaki beach was our favourite. This was our third visit to Crete and we loved this area. We made good use of the long washing line in the garden. The pool and jacuzzi made the stay perfect. We would definitely book this villa again.

The villa was close enough to the lovely nearby town and beach to walk to. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, all of them spacious double rooms which are clean and modern. It was nice-each of our kids had their own room! Every bedroom has access to a large balcony. There is one shower room upstairs and one downstairs, both were outfitted to a high standard. Downstairs there is a dining area with large open kitchen. The living room is separated by a door and allows for a bit of quiet privacy. The windows and doors in every room have mosquito screens. The location is unbeatable-we arrived late evening when it was already dark out and had no problems finding the place. The property has a private drive with gate shared by the neighbouring villa.

What is not to like? The location is great, the villa is clean and comfortable. The outdoor lighting is sufficient in the evenings. The way to the pool could be easily improved by adding some paving stones (the way is over the driveway which has some stones). The only mildly irritating thing was that the neighbouring villa’s pool was right beside our pool, separated only by a fence and some bushes. We were not overlooked (that was nicely private) but it was sometimes a bit loud…

The villa was perfect for the 5 of us that stayed. The beds were comfortable and the AC was great. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the outdoor pool area was great with comfortable loungers and a great view of the surrounding mountains/hills. Super close to Georgioupolis, around a 10 minute walk which had a great selection of restaurants, bars and the beach. The hosts were also lovely and very welcoming, providing our groups with great recommendations for food and where to go which we certainly took up and loved! Thanks again!

The only issues were the cleaning service only came a day before we left rather than in the middle of our stay as planned and a lack of accessible outdoor waste bins to put our rubbish in.

Villa Marian was the perfect place for our holiday. it was clean, spacious and conveniently located a short 10 minute stroll away from the beach and restaurants and shops. The pool area was fantastic. the hosts were incredible and very responsive to any of our queries.

Perfect Location quiet but close to the village of Georgioupolis. Villa was spotless and the maids were exceptional Kostas and Stavroula were great hosts friendly, helpful give the best cheese pastries😀 We would recommend a car just to see the surrounding villages.

Nothing that I can think of. It suited and ticked all our boxes and will definitely go back again.
