Villa Iceberg

Everything! The villa was spotlessly clean and really well equipped with everything you might need. The pool was fantastic, well maintained and cleaned regularly. Beds were comfortable. Bedding changed during our stay and clean shower and pool towels were provided regularly. The location was perfect, literally a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach and over 10 gorgeous bars and restaurants. The locals were all very friendly and helpful. There is a free car park a 30 second walk away, ideal for your hire car. It was a 20 minute taxi ride to Matala, an absolutely stunning town. Water park, Water City, was about an hours drive away but well worth a visit. Daniela was a perfect host, there when needed but let you enjoy your holiday in peace. The water, fruit & beer on arrival was very well received!! We had an amazing holiday and booked to return next year before left 😊

Nothing!!

The house was by far the best holiday home we had stayed in. There was plenty of space for us all to eat, live and sleep. There were plenty of towels, a washing machine and clothes airer to be used. The kitchen had many glasses and cups, a fruit bowl full and drinks in the fridge on arrival was a lovely touch. All the air con worked really well which was a blessing in a summer heatwave! Being a couple of minutes from the beach was perfect. There was also many restaurants to choose from every day and also a car hire shop who were very helpful. There is a shop with a bakery nearby selling snacks and drinks, nothing to really make a meal from other than sandwiches and pasta. It's a quiet area with not much going on which was exactly what we wanted. We hired a car and explored nearby towns and beaches which were all worth a visit.

We couldn't touch the bottom of the swimming pool so the children couldn't play the same in the pool but we still had a good time. The host entered the property couple of times while we were out, once to replace the towels on day two but it really didn't need to be done and we were not expecting anyone to be in the property during our stay without warning. The second was to put the large umbrella down when the wind picked up which I can understand that. There was a few too many ornaments on shelves so not much room for you're own belongings.

Die Villa sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Der Pool war das beste für die Kinder. Daniela war super bemüht und hat sich um alles sofort gekümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Hat nichts mit der villa zu tun aber der Strand mit den großen steinplatten im Meer hat uns nicht gefallen.

The villa is excellent for a larger family, it has 4 bedrooms, a large living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils. The private pool was a very good way to relax, especially for children. The beach is very close, about 2 minutes walk. The area is very quiet and the people of Kalamaki very friendly and ready to help you with anything. I recommend to everyone .

Everything was OK .

Superb villa with amazing attention to detail. Pool was perfect. The large upstairs bed can also be split into singles which worked perfectly for us giving 2 x twin and 2 x double rooms. Air conditioning in all rooms was fabulous on the really hot days. Very helpful welcome pack with all the essentials. General oil, spices etc meant we didn't have to buy basics. Internal flooring looked slippy on photos but were not in reality, which was a great comfort as we went with elderly relatives. So close to beach and local shops and restaurants. Host Daniella was very helpful and responsive and organised taxis for us.

Upstairs shower head bracket needs replacing. Kalamaki village is small so not suitable for all but all amenities are there. Sea can be quite rough on windy days (but there are lifeguards which was impressive). There are also rocks so take swimshoes. Could have done with a smaller lidded saucepan, toaster and pair of scissors in kitchen. More coathangers in the wardrobes would be useful.

Fabulous space with great plunge pool & lots of different areas to sit and eat / socialise. Really well equipped if you want to cook & eat in the villa - we didn’t as the range of nearby restaurants was so good.

Can’t say there is anything we didn’t like - the mattresses are very firm but nothing too unpleasant.

The villa was beautifully furnished. In a great location right in the centre of Kalamaki. A super pool and very clean and comfortable throughout. We were a fanily with two couples 3 children and another adult. There was ample room for all. Our host Daniela was extremely responsive to our requests and we enjoyed our week very much.

The villa was gorgeous, and had everything we needed. The pool was fabulous, and the location excellent. Just a short walk to restaurants, a little supermarket, and the beach.

There were a couple of things that needed fixing (something in one of the bathrooms, and the shade mechanism for a large sun lounger), but these were minor annoyances.
