Scirocco & Folitsa Villas

Villa Scirocco was comfortable cute and cosy, beautiful views, nice patio area and pool. Reasonably equipped with comfy beds and nice sheets. George was there when we arrived to hand over the keys and explain everything for us, we did not have any problems but George was easy to contact if you did need anything.

Rather rough bumpy road to access the property, Two large villas one below and one behind had large groups in they were rather noisy at times

We've stayed at Folitsa several times so we know what to expect. The location is great and we know the local tavernas, supermarket etc. The locals are very friendly and helpful. everything is only a short walk away.

The pool table has not been covered and is in a really bad state. The cues are bent and the playing surface is damaged - it's barely usable and will not be next year. Please sort it out, maybe most people don't use it but we like to. A few things were broken and missing on arrival (chair, cutlery drawer) but these were quickly put right by George. Every year we have to buy glasses because there aren't enough - the owner should provide these, we shouldn't have to!

We were greeted at the villa by George who manages the property. He simply could not be more helpful and welcoming. He provided me with lots of information via whatsapp before I even arrived regarding supermarkets, boat hire companies, recommended restaurants in the area and other such things. The villa itself was utterly amazing. The views are exceptional, pool and outside areas are well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms were very comfortable, each has it's won private shower room and great air conditioning units. Laundry room with separate toilet was a big bonus for us. The kitchen is well appointed with coffee machines, toaster, kettle, microwave and a full sized cooker with fan oven. Fridge freezer was large enough for lots of bottles of cold drinks and food.

My only small criticism was the lack of an outdoor dining area. There are lovely rattan armchairs and a coffee table, but a dining table and chairs would have been nice. However, to compensate for this was a fun pool table! The hill to the villa is very steep, however this wasn't a problem for us but could be for a family with young children. I would suggest that in order to full enjoy this villa and surrounding areas you need a hire car.
