Modern Villa with Pool & Garden Kastalys, Rhodes

Really clean and very helpful host. Villa is well equipped and has everything you need for a great holiday.

Die Villa war sehr groß und hatte alles, was man eigentlich benötigt. Vor allem nachts hat es super viel spaß gemacht am Pool und auf der Terrasse zu entspannen.

Die Lage war sehr Zentral auf der Insel, aber zur Altstadt benötigt man gute 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Das ist kein Manko, nur ein Grund, um auf jeden Fall ein Auto zu mieten.

The villa was great we were 4 couples and all rooms on suite. Tina was on hand for any questions and even got us 2 extra Sun loungers so we had 8 . The villa is in a spot where you need to drive or be happy with the bus or taxi. The bus stops are very close and easy to get to Rhodes town or Lindos. Taxi is 12-15€ into Faliraki with some great restaurants recommended by Tina

For 12 day stay could have done with a change of bedding included in the price

The location was great, it was very easy to get to the local bakery, butcher, beaches and fuel station. (We had hire cars)

We spent a perfect time in this place. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful sandy beaches in close proximity. Tina the host was very kind and helpful for us.

The property was amazing! Exceeded all our expectations! They have thought of everything! Has everything you need and more! Beautiful inside and out. The property is perfectly situated with easy access to the whole island and a short drive into faliraki. Tina was amazing and so accommodating. We would definitely recommend!

Nothing it was perfect

we liked absolutely everything. the house is modern and clean. the bathrooms were top notch. the outdoor area took our breath away, the nice swimming pool. There is nothing to put your finger on here. we were so happy that we wanted to buy the house. the host was very helpful with everything. she made the stay very good. we cannot praise this place and the house enough. the house suits everyone!!!!

we ended up hiring a car. maybe a bit far from food shopping.

We stayed in the villa in May - June. We arrived at approx midnight and was still greeted by Tina the host. She arranged food and ensured we had breakfast for the next day before we could do a shop. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she is an absolute asset to the owners. Waking up in the villa in day light was unbelievable. The facilities are amazing we couldn’t quite believe how beautiful it was. the pool is a perfect size for a cool off, with a perfect shallow area if you are travelling with children. The kitchen utilities had everything you could need for making a variety of meals and the utility area was perfect. The air conditioning worked very well and you could keep the villa at the temperature you required at all times. There are shutters that come down for the whole villa which makes for a perfect sleeping environment as it effectively gives you black out blinds but better. Alabamas bar is a must which is the closest bar to the villa. for a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic cocktails!

It’s very difficult to say there was anything we didn’t like about the Villa as it’s a dream. But things to be mindful of because of where the villa in situated. - if you don’t want to have a car (we didn’t and each day we contemplated until it wasn’t worth it) you will be paying 12€ for a taxi journey, whether it be 2 minutes or 10minutes down the road. The 2 taxi drivers that are recommended by Tina are fantastic and do not charge more than other drivers, so I would recommend always using these, however paying this price does mount up. It appears on Google maps that the walk in to Faliraki would take 20 mins, however a large part of this journey is on a very busy road with no pavement. There is a way to walk round and get on to the part of the road where a pavement is available but this takes 40mins. It is a nice walk out but can be difficult in the day with the heat and with children. It would be really helpful in the welcome pack to have information about the bus service. This would allow for more cost effective travel as it was very difficult to work out. We got to Lindos once we had worked out the bus journey, it was convenient as it was from the Bus stop on the road just up from the Villa. This cost 4€ each way. Compared to the 50€ in a taxi. - we couldn’t find anywhere to hang a washing line which would have helped dry the amount of clothes we had.
