Avgi Villa

The location was great with a spectacular view. The host was very friendly and responsive, and really made us feel welcome; they take great pride in the place. The cottage seemed newly renovated and very well equipped both inside and outside. It is located on a hillside, with an olive grove and an small orchard below. The outdoor area with the swimming pool and outdoor kitchen is absolutely stunning. It has beautiful nearby hikes and the close town, Glossa, has lots of authentic character and historic places. All in all, the host has taken great care in making it a perfect vacation rental.

There is so much to love about this villa! The view is stunning and the villa has everything you could possibly need; comfortable beds, the gorgeous pool, barbecue area, surrounding olive and mulberry trees and plenty of outside seating! This villa has been planned and built with love and Nina is quick to respond to any queries! Her parents came every couple of days to clean the pool but were so discreet and lovely! If you want a quiet stay, this is your place! Our teenagers enjoyed the pool and we loved the peaceful setting and the view of the sea! A little snippet of heaven! We were able to easily get to Glossa in about 7 minutes and down to Skopelos Town in 50 minutes.

I thought the pictures were perfect but when you are there it is the ultimate. The villa is private, peaceful and as we learned Avgi means sunrise and we enjoyed it immensely. I know I will be back and will strongly recommend to my friends. As we traveled around the island I kept patting myself on the back that we discovered this beautiful gem. You will too!

Leaving it felt so sad.

This place is amazing, the house has everything you need and more, a splendid view! I highly recommend for anyone who wants a glimpse of magic. The sunrise, the pool, the garden, it’s a perfect spot for relaxation and quality time. We stayed for easter and definitely we will be back. I really want to say here that Nina & her family are incredible people, taking care of everything like in 5 star place and we really enjoyed every moment in Avgi Villa. It’s made with love and kindness and care, every detail is there for you to feel pampered and relaxed. We loved it so much! Thank you!🤍

Everything was brilliant - Nina and her lovely parents have thought of absolutely everything. The welcome treats were a nice touch, as was the departure gift! The villa is even more beautiful than the photos - we loved our stay and we can't wait to return (hopefully for longer next time!).

Everything! The house itself is perfect. It has everything needed for a vacation, including things I didn’t even think of. The house was very clean and pleasant to stay in. Nina was extremely nice and helpful, provided a lot of relevant information. We will definitely come back again.

The hosts have thought of everything. Every need is catered for and Nina was available for any questions we had about the villa or island in general. We felt like we were in paradise for a week and didn’t want to leave. Would love to return one day.

Nothing not to like (apart from having to leave!).

This Villa was by far the best villa we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in quite a few all over Europe). Nina and her parents were exceptional hosts. If I could rate higher I would have no hesitation. Nina arranged the transfer taxi, water taxi, hire car and helped collect luggage. arrival and departure. We felt like royalty passing all the queues. The service from Agvi villas was second to none. Even through out the stay, Nina and her parents were on hand to help with any questions. Nina mum providing lovely homemade food. When you arrive the fridge was well stocked with essentials. Even gifted my son a large tasty birthday cake for my son's 21st - how generous. The villa was just as the photos, with plenty of space, exceptionally clean, pool towels, beach towels all provided, lovely high grade sun loungers, plus sky channels in English all set up before we arrived. The pool is quite large and the view is incredible. It was the most relaxing holiday ever because of Nina and her parents taking care of everything. I highly recommend this villa and I hardly ever write reviews. I'm glad we stayed near Glossa. Not over run with tourists, still keeps the authentic Greek life and good value.
